Sometimes when I'm trying to load the Shelter or Safari Zone, Chrome will load the page fully and then suddenly throw up the "Aw, snap! Something went wrong when displaying this webpage" screen. I haven't seen this screen outside this website and the Shelter (though I feel like it might have happened in the Battle Tower a few times, I'm having trouble remembering.) It always seems to happen just as I see the egg I want and go to click it; do you think that's just my rotten luck, or that it has something to do with animating the eggs my cursor skims over?

Yeah, it's a known issue; supposedly the OP of that thread found how to deal with it, but they never came back to let us know what to do!

I was the one who helped OP out. Unfortunately it just seems to be a thing recent versions of Chrome like to do for whatever reason. You can mitigate it somewhat by limiting the number of tabs you keep open at once, avoiding things like streaming video, and regularly restarting your browser, but ultimately you're just gonna have to wait for Chrome to cut it out.

I imagine turning off animations in your skin settings might help as well, but don't know for sure since I always have mine turned off.

Chrome does that to me occasionally as well, but it only seems to do it after refreshing the shelter or using Sweet Honey on a Honey+ day. It's totally intermittent though, it doesn't do it after a certain number of refreshes, it's totally random
