I noticed we have a topic about siblings, parents, and even grandparents and great grandparents, but no topics about your breeders' children. This isn't about who you are breeding but the offspring themselves. Do you ever look at your Pokemon's children after they have been adopted and hatched and felt all fuzzy inside? Oddly, I have.
Also, has anyone else felt a pang of regret or jealousy if their children turn out to be shinies and you let them go? I have yet to have that happen, but I'm sure I would feel that way, heh heh. How about people who pick hatched Pokemon out of the Shelter? Do they already have children sometimes? Talk about drrrraaamaaa. xD This post has been edited by PeachyMomo: May 6 2009, 03:28 PM -------------------- |

A Houndour out of the second pair I've ever bred hatched shiny. I was soooo jealous. xD
I do occasionly click the Absol eggs my old pairing made, but other than that, I don't really look at them much. :P Oh, so there is another topic? I was wondering about that myself. xD This post has been edited by skibbereenfarms: May 6 2009, 03:35 PM -------------------- |

Eh, I'm not going through all those pages to find it. I'm pretty sure there was, though.

Considering I've only been breeding since yesterday, there's still the "newness factor" that makes me get that fuzzy feeling when I see all the little Cubones and Larvitars my lovelies have bred.
And the Shelter was in desperate need of Cubones... they may be common, but I've never seen them in there. -------------------- Sofia's Shiny Army Click this link and help me get a hat! Avid Onix Fanatic Random Stuff! (click to show ) |

Magikarps are breeding like crazy, and are easy to hatch. A lot of people want them because they are so easy to hatch. I breed them and will stop grabbing the Eggs when I get a shiny one...
Half a box full now and no shiny ;-; -------------------- LETAN'S E-STALKING ME *screams*

When I was breeding my Pikachu, I went through occasionally and clicked on some of their babies. Honestly, it wasn't as... 'fuzzy-feeling' inducing as just clicking on random people's eggs or returning clicks and stumbling across someone who has one of my babies. It makes me smile.
I don't think either of my breeding pairs have had shiny babies yet, but I don't think I'd mind too much until I start breeding Drifloon. Swear to God, if one of my Drifloon babies hatches shiny, and it's one I didn't keep, I will be so upset. 8[ -------------------- |

I still go all "Aww that's one of my babies" when i see one that i bred. So far none of them have been shiny but I'll be insanely jelous if one of my bred bulbasaurs turns out to be a shiny and i don't get it lol. I like to go click on them too.

I have been known to click the parties of those who adopted my pokemon's eggs. Especially if that egg/poke is still in their party.

I hardly do anymore, ever since they produced more than twenty or so eggs. xD However, whenever I see a Togepi egg, I check to see if it was mine, and get disappointed if it wasn't. Oddly, I don't do that with my Skitty eggs.
I don't really care much if one of the eggs I breed hatches shiny. Shiny Togepi are super similar to the normal form, and I don't care all too much about Skitty. xD -------------------- |

However, whenever I see a Togepi egg, I check to see if it was mine, and get disappointed if it wasn't. I do that with Bidoof, Psyduck, Pichu, Vulpix, Charmander and Mudkip eggs. Never seen any that came out of my breeding yet :/ -------------------- |

Eevee is insanely breed everywhere, but I still always check to see if someone got an Eevee egg of mine. I always get warm fuzzies to see my pokemon's children and I'm all excited to start a new breeding pair. I don't want more then a few eggs per pair of pokemon, so I'll just keep switching them out.
I would defiantly be insanely jealous if I see a shiny eevee that was one of my pokemon's children T_T I also get jealous if I see a female eevee as a child of mine, even though I just recently got one. Another is when they have a nature I really wanted my pokemon to have XD I also love clicking on those who adopted my children, when I have spare time that day atleast. ^-^ -------------------- |

I do feel all fuzzy inside if I happen to run across my pokes grandchildren. Checking out their partners lineage is most interesting to me.
I don't think I'll feel regret or jealousy over any shines children. One'll never know beforehand afterall. In fact, I think it'll be pretty cool (I have run across shiny grandchildren but not children). Ironically my first shiny is a child from one of my breeding pairs. I never felt anything in particular when I pick that egg from the daycare, or any call/lure/pull from the egg itself. I just planned to take the next egg when I release it's older siblings. It's funny how things works out sometimes. I like stalking my own released eggs and checking what timing it was picked up, counting how long it stayed in the shelter before being picked up. =x -------------------- |

I smiled when I found out I'd already warmed some of my pokemon's children before going to look at them yesterday, but that's it.

I sometimes do a quick peek at the children, especially my Lotad x Turtwig one... Then again, most of them are Turtwigs! Sweet
Sometimes I check the children hoping they turned out to be the one I'm hoping for... That's me -------------------- |
