I don't know if this is an actual bug, but this has happened a lot to me. And I think only in my Black game. I'm not 100% sure. But it happens when I'm in a double battle. When both of my Pokemon are knocked out in the same turn, I can't switch out my Pokemon. It's like, I select the first Pokemon, but when I select the second it says "____ can't be switched out!" It does that for every second Pokemon I try to switch out. If you can't understand it, I'll try to simplify it.
Pokemon 1 used attack! Pokemon A fainted! Pokemon 2 used Attack! Pokemon B fainted! What Pokemon will you choose? >Pokemon C >Select >Pokemon D >Sel- This Pokemon can't be switched out! The pokemon with numbers are the enemy's Pokemon examples and the Pokemon with letters are the player's examples. So, has this every happened to anyone else? -------------------- Avatar and userbar by Monsieur Mittens.

This has happened to me, too. It's weird, but you can actually switch out for new Pokemon if you fidget about with it. I think you have to select the same Pokemon to send out for both sides or something like that. I apologize for not remembering clearly. It does need to be fixed in the next games. It's really difficult to work with.

Its not a bug, it explains it in the instruction book. I think you have to select (to use your examples) Pokemon A first, then pokemon C, but I'm not 100% sure. Either way, those mechanics need to be adjusted as it is confusing

You're right. I got into this situation the other night, and that was the solution.
