I know very few people who actually legitimately beat the E4, with no cheats. xP

If we're talking about Blue or Red (in my case) then I did. It was easy. I just wish I could recall my team for that. I know I had a lvl 5 hitmonchan with the 3 elemental punches and megapunch, and it rocked the first two members by itself (I think).

The Missingno cheat, along with a friend with a gameshark, was able to concoct the ultimate Mewtwo, and with a few months of rare candies and the lvl 255 glitch (something where if you'd drop back to the low 100's when you got to 255) I had an unstoppable mewtwo (with exception to OHKO's) Nothings funnier than watching a mewtwo drianed of all its PP and then struggling through the entire E4. XDD

I had a level 5 Machamp in my Yellow. If anyone remembers correctly, some kid wants a cubone for Machoke. So, I went to Gold and bred a Cubone, then traded it to Yellow, then gave it to the little girl. That was fun .

As for Missingno, I beat the E4 a few times before I learned the glitch from my friends. Level 100 everything. He he he...

CLONING GLITCH/MULTI CLONING GLITCH/ITEM CLONING GLITCH. (thanks to The Edge for complete instructions)
1.) Go to the PC in the battle tower. Must be on Emerald Version only.
2.) Deposit the pokemon(s) you want to clone in any slot of Lanete's PC. Or, if you want to clone items, give the item(s) you want to clone to any pokemon in the PC.
3.) Exit the computer and save your game.
4.) Withdraw the pokemon(s) or item(s) from the PC that you stored in step two.
5.) Talk to the lady behind the counter closest to the PC.
6.) She will ask if you want to make a challenge. Select yes and choose any two eligible pokemon from your party.
7.) She will tell you that you must save the game before making a challenge and ask you if that is OK. Select yes.
8.) The game will freeze for 2-3 seconds.
9.) After, but not during, the freeze, turn off the game. It is not necessary to save again.
10.) When your game is turned back on, the cloned pokemon(s) or item(s) will be both in your party and in the PC.
!WARNING! : If you deposit a pokemon between saving and talking to the link battle receptionist, it will disappear forever. The first time you try it, use a pokemon you don't care about, so you can make sure you have it right. You don't want to lose one of your precious high-leveled/legendary/one-of pokemon! Do not clone 6 Pokemon at a time" and "Don't turn off during the freeze" Both cause you to lose Pokemon and/or MS's have been confirmed in our group!"

Yay I picked up my Gold yesterday and started playing it again. Silver's battery died.

Umm yeah, famous G/S cloning glitch anyone? :0 Too lazy to type out everything but you deposit a pokemon in an empty box, then pretend to change the box and turn it off when it says "SAVING...Don't turn off the p" and go back in and withdraw the happy little sucker.

Lol I found a shiny Weedle in Ilex Forest when I was trying to find some trees to headbutt and he was easy to catch. And I also saw a shiny Female Grimer on the Cycling road and I battled it to about yellow health and she ran away. I still have nightmares from that... What kind of pokemon runs away from meh? I was playing my rom and hacked a shiny Umbreon and that ran away too .__.;
Oh and I got a shiny Ditto and Eevee and Mew by a glitch. And I have 9 shiny Gyarados.

If it's anything like the cloning glitch from G/S/C, probably not, though you may lose the Pokemon.

It can not hurt your game at all as long as you follow the instructions exactly.
Ive been abusing it for more than a year and havn't lost a thing
Try with a zigzagoon or something until you are sure you get it.

I have a Starmie Army thanks to that glitch. Shiny Starmies I might add.

I remember reading somewhere that said you can't clone Rayquaza or Kyogre as it'll harm your game. Is it true or not?
