I mean its so annoying at least every other time i refresh the shelter theres a gulpin and their so constant whats up with the surge of guplins?
PS: what does a Corruption Orb summon? -------------------- I always try to click back! My Party-add me on palpad for full party clicks daily! Gulpins are there because a lot of people are looking for shinies and abandoning those that aren't shiny.
Corruption Orbs don't summon anything. They corrupt certain pokemon eggs. -------------------- |

Yeah like Rapidash said, people are hunting for Shiny Gulpins for one of the Achievements, which, requires you to get a shiny gulpin.

The Pokii's rage achievement requires a Shiny Gulpin, so people are trying to get it. During their shiny hunts they are abandoning their non-shiny gulpins.
