This evening the mobile walker is suddenly refusing to register that I do in fact have geolocation on and I do allow GPX to access the information.
It was working earlier. I haven't changed anything, and even with restarting Opera and after disabling the feature and re-enabling it, it will not register. What do I do?! -------------------- |

I've seen this problem several times before but I can't remember seeing anywhere in which it was definitely fixed. Some suggestions off the top of my head, though: try another browser, check your network, disconnect and reconnect to your network, switch to an ethernet connection if you're on wireless (or vice versa), or try using a mobile device in the meantime if you have it. Also try activating it several times in a row; sometimes mine will stop working, then suddenly start working after a handful of failed activations, without my changing any settings or anything.

I have been trying in Opera since I posted, but I just tried in Chrome and it worked. I hope I do not have to log in on Chrome every time now for it to continue working when I have changed nothing and it suddenly stopped in Opera. Thanks. Thread can be closed now, I guess? -------------------- |

I had the same problem today, perhaps this is due to the new mobile updates? I'd really prefer to use the same browser (opera) instead of switching as chrome automatically logs me out. And as the OP said, I haven't changed any of my settings and even emptied my cache.

Odd, I wasn't going to say anything last night because I know when that happens, it says it's an issue with our own computer or browser settings, not the site, but since this thread is here, I'm guessing it can't be a coincidence that it stopped working for me on opera last night as well?

Yeah, it seems that it is a site-wide problem. I still cannot get it to work in Opera 11.52 or Firefox 7.0.1, only Chrome 15.

I'm having this same issue since last night. It works on chrome but it stopped working on opera. Mine always asks if I want to allow it whenever I click to prime or whatever my walker, and I always say yes but now it doesn't want to work. Only works on chrome

My Mobile Walker is working fine on Opera, but I'm still using version 10.63. Is it possible a recent update to Opera caused it?

There's been no recent update to Opera! I'm still running the same version I was when it worked. It simply stopped working without any change on my end.

It also doesn't work with Firefox 8.0 because that's what I use and I tried it earlier and it said it was glitchy on Firefox anyway.
I saw someone say earlier that an older version of Firefox doesn't work with it either. I figured I'd weigh in that the newest version doesn't work as well. I don't have Chrome or Opera (nor was I ever intending to get them) and I hate using IE so I'm just figuring that until it works with Firefox, I just won't use it. -------------------- I love making The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Sprites! It DOES work with Firefox 7.0.1, just throwing that out there to see if it helps. Or mine at least, anyway.
I'd try on Opera but it's a pain to get around with how I set it up and I can't remember if I enabled geolocation anyway... -------------------- |

Just thought that I'd mention that it's happening with Opera as well now, I'm using 11.11 though, so that may be why. It was doing it every now and then for the last week or so, but now I just can't use it at all xp

The problem doesn't seem to be related to any certain browser, since there are people saying it works in browsers it no longer works in for others.
I know the pop-up says that it's handled by the browsers but the browser is functioning! The website just refuses to acknowledge that Opera is sending it the information. -------------------- |

yeah it dosent seem to be a browser issue here i have both the firefox and the opera in question and both are working fine for me however it could be an issue with your internet set up or something smiler that makes it so geolocation cant be used or something
