I have only caught one in my life, save for Shiny Gayrados, but I don't count that.

Caught: Rayquaza, Groudon, Tentacruel, Seismatoad, Golbat, meditite (sadly on a rom), I think one other thing... but I can't remember

3 (but I only caught 2)
1st: Female Ralts in Emerald. I didn't have her for long because my cousin saved over it when I went out 10 minutes after getting her. 2nd: Male Magikarp in SS. I got him at the left of Mahogany Town. i was fishing for Goldeen to try and get my Haunter up one more level when I ran into him. 3rd: I started a new game of Silver a week ago. Before they gave me pokeballs I ran into a shiny Pidgey. I was soooooo pissed and I had to have my Totodile knock it out. FML Magikarp is the only one I still have (excluding the ingame Gyarados which is female) --------------------  |

I have. Three, actually.
I caught a shiny Floatzel from my original Pearl version (which unfortunately disappeared when I was forced to clean my room), a shiny Ditto from my second run of Emerald, and a shiny Mightyena from my third run of Emerald. I wish I still had my shiny Floatzel. She had so much potential to be a good battler (which Ditto and Mightyena both, sadly, severely lack). -------------------- [align=center]

I caught a shiny Wurmple in Ruby once... And I managed to chain shiny Ponyta and shiny Shinx, but I don't really count those. Though I do count a shiny Mareep that I chained - except it appeared on number 17, I think before the odds are raised.

Shiny Ponyta in HeartGold. Now a Rapidash.
I was training my Froslass at Mt. Silver, and when I went into the grass next to the PokeCenter, I saw it. I was with my friends at that time, and it created quite a reaction. --------------------   |

I've caught... a total of 8 (yes, 8) and one over the GTS (ingame not here)
My roaming Latios was Shiny in Emerald and so was the Beldum funnily enough. On pearl I've also encountered 2 Shiny Buizel through chaining, and a I resurrected a Kabuto which was shiny. (but I've lost my pearl  ), bred myself a Shiny Totodile on Soul Silver and then my game crashed ;; I also misplaced that too so I have no idea where they are. On White I currently have a Shiny Swellow and a Shiny Drifblim. Totally random :>

Shiny Fearow, but I forgot about it when I restarted my game, so it wasn't migrated ;~;
I could've encountered a shiny in the Trophy Garden in Diamond, but I didn't know what the sparkles meant :c I lost it, anyways

Female caterpie from the bug catching contest in heartgold, male spinark and hour after caterpie under ectureak, female plusle in sapphire while training my marshtomp, male hoothoot in gold or silver, magikarp in silver, gold or crystal and a shiny cleffa in crystal from the daycare couple.

Let's see, my first shiny was a Ponyta on Pearl ("Wait, Ponyta aren't blu- OH MY GOD.") I caught it, named it Blaze, and proceeded to brag to my neighbor about it : D
And just recently I caught a shiny Tentacool on Soul Silver~ My neighbor now hates me  (He still hasn't caught a single shiny, lol~)
