I would choose Espeon over all of the Eeveelutions. hands down.

I prefer Umbreon. A good tank, for me. So what if it doesn't hit hard enough? At least it lasts a while before it goes down. Plus Umbreon looks sleek.

I've always loved Espeon more myself. Due to the fact that it's part of the reason why I learned how to draw it holds a special place in my heart. Umbreon on the other hand does not.

I love them both, I personally prefer Umbreon because I love darkness and night time. If you are looking for which one has better stats though:

They have about the same base attack, but Umbreon has way better base defense while Espeon has way better base special attack. So it depends on what stats you value. Although as suggested you could just breed with a ditto and end up with both. |

I know my name is purple umbreon but I think espeon is better.

I just loved Umbreon when those two first came out, never achieved Espeon though, so I guess that's why I never favored it.
