I've been getting some PMs about reviving the Channel 4 news thread. It was a fun little diversion for those of us in a RP rut, as well as getting your characters, stories, and ideas some much needed exposure to the PANE community. Inactivity ultimately killed it. There has been some renewed interest, so allow me to introduce an expanded version of that thread:

PANE Network on Channel 4- Shows that bring the PANE!

Do you have trouble keeping up with all the comings and goings of your favorite PANE characters? Do you wish everyone knew what your character was up to? Have no fear, PANE Channel 4 is here for YOU! This thread is entirely community driven: you’re free to put in whatever idea you have.

Examples of what you can do:

*Channel 4 News: Create your very own reporter and give a summary of important RP events.

*Lifestyles of the Young and Well-Traveled: A show about trainers and how they live and work. Give an interview on your character’s life: past, present, and future. An entire episode about your character/partner/NPC/etc.

*Travel programming: Shows that explore all the sights of Furoh. Ideal if you created your own location and want more exposure (and more RPs based in it)

*Pokemon programming: Nature programs! Can be used to report swarms and the like.

*Commercials! Think up your own products and make commercials! Who knows, maybe your creation will appear in someone’s RP!

*More detailed examples can be seen in the previous thread

Rules:

1. Posts can be as long as you’d like, though you only really need a brief paragraph. Everything’s optional. However, for the greatest effect, it’d be nice if you included a headline and necessary links to RP posts or wiki pages.
2. If you do anything on someone else’s creation, be sure to get his/her permission for use.

Well... Since no one is making news, I'll start.

"Hello! I'm Tracey Lorb, reporter from Channel 4 PANE! Today, I'm here in Lenolia to talk about a planned expedition! They will be searching for the fabled mauloseum in the center of Marowak Graveyard! I have with me today Vanessa Dixon, who is currently the only person signed up for the expedition! How are you today, Vanessa?"

"Fine. Can we please get this over with? I don't care for giving away details about what I'm doing, being a P.I."

"Okay, let's get on with our interview. Why did you join the expedition?"

"I got an anonymous tip about events relating to a particular criminal I've been hunting for the past four years in the cemetery."

"What are you hoping to get out of this?"

"Isn't it obvious? Answers. If I can get clues that will lead me to him, I would love that. I would like to end this man. He is the one who did this to me." Vanessa held her burnt arm up. "And no, I don't want to tell the story. At least at this point in time."

"Thank you for your time. One more question, though. What is the name of this criminal, so that the public may be aware to avoid this wrong-doer?"

"If you see a screaming theater mask and black hands, get away immediately. That is my only comment."

"Well, back to you in the studio, Chris!"
