Introduction ---
welcome to the "Think Outside The Egg" Group, or T.O.T.E for short. this Group is dedicated to those who love the artistic styles of the egg sprites in the GPX+, and those who love to collect and see many diffrent kinds of eggs. By Joining This Group, You Are Dedicating Yourself To The Art And Beauty Of Every Egg, And Every Pokemon That Is Born From Every Gorgeous Capsule Of Life~ (basicly, this is just a simple club for those who are intrested in spriting, spriting eggs, the GPX+ itself, and/or egg sprites). if you would like to enter this group, please read the "Rules And Sign-Up" section.

Rules And Sign-Up ---
- all basic rules apply.
- this group contains art/sprites, so please do not steal or use anything without permission and/or credit.
- keep in mind that if your going to make a button or graphic for this group, another person using it doesnt need to provide credit.
- every time you get an egg that you have gotten for the first time or have never seen before, please post the image of the egg here. (this is to keep this group up and running). you dont have to do this, but it still would very very nice if you would anyways.
(the following is for the Eggdex section, so if your going to post any custom eggs for the Dex, you MUST read this) -
- when posting an egg to add to the dex, theres 2 things you need to make sure the egg has; crop and transparency.
- for the crop part, all 4 edges must be touching the pixels/sides of the egg sprite. contour the sides to give it the same alignment as the eggs in the GPX+ when they are in a row in your party. see http://i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu156/RotomHavoc/slowbroegg-1.png, and http://i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu156/RotomHavoc/badexample.png. if you look at example 1 carefully, youll see that the edges (blue background) is touching the 4 sides of the egg. however, example 2 shows that the egg isnt being touched by all 4 sides, and its off by 2 pixels. even that much could ruin the perfect alignment of eggs touching each other in a row. so PLEASE, get rid of all the extra space by cropping the image.
- for the transparancy part, you must make the background transparent. go to www.iaza.com, or download GIMP (or use anything else you currently use). any egg posted without a transparent background will be denied.

Ranks ---
Leader - leader of the group.
Co-Leader - main helper(s) of the Leader. will take over while the Leader is out or away.
Veteran - has contributed to the group, or has been in the group for a long time.
Member - basic member of the group.
Banned - has been braking the rules and is banned from the group.

The Eggdex ---
one of our main subjects of this group is to create an "Eggdex", which is a pokedex filled with custom egg sprites. please contribute to the Eggdex by making some egg sprites of your own, then posting them here, and i will add them to the Eggdex collection.

these ribbons act as awards, and they may be earned under certain circumstances. see the list below. (you must be in this group to earn a ribbon)

Minor Collection Ribbon - have 100 or more eggs obtained in your GPX+ profile.
Low Collection Ribbon - have 200 or more eggs obtained in your GPX+ profile.
Medium Collection Ribbon - have 300 or more eggs obtained in your GPX+ profile.
High Collection Ribbon - have 400 or more eggs obtained in your GPX+ profile.
Major Collection Ribbon - have 500 or more eggs obtained in your GPX+ profile.
Red Ribbon - collect all 4 Fire Starters.
Green Ribbon - collect all 4 Grass Starters.
Blue Ribbon - collect all 4 Water Starters.
React Ribbon - have 10,000 total interactions in your GPX+ profile.
Interact Ribbon - have 25,000 total interactions in your GPX+ profile.
Life Ribbon - have 500 total daycare eggs produced in your GPX+ profile.
Multi Ribbon - be in another GPX+ group/club/clan besides this one.

if you baleive you qualify for any of the listed ribbons above, just post what ribbon(s) you think you should earn, and i will see if you qualify for it/them. if you get the ribbon, you may use it as an award in your signature, or anything else. (no credit is needed). *currently under maitenence*

Graphics ---
you may make buttons, banners, bars, or any other kind of graphic for everyone else to use, so that you can support this Group. if you have something you want to put up here, just post it, and i will add it here.


T.O.T.E Rares ---
have a legendary, novelty, or shiny pokemon? if so, please post the amount of legendary, novelty, and shiny pokemon you have, and ill add it to this list.


Key ---
Section Icons -
if you see that an icon next to a section is whited-out, or see-through, that section is currently unavailable, under construction, or does not have any content in it yet.
Event Section -
if a (+) symbol is next to a link or sentence, that means that it is related to the GPX+ or GTS+.
if a (-) symbol is next to a link or sentence, that means that it is not related to the GPX+ or GTS+.

Any other reasons why your joining? I think it sounds liek a fun project and eggs are simple enough to sprite and should be great for me to get back into the spriting business

if you click on the Eggdex link in the first post, youll notice that your egg sprite is all bulgy. please crop the image so that it can look like the other eggs that are aligned in a row.

Are you a spriter? - No, but you have to start somewhere. I can probably manage; photoshop is easy to use.

Are you a spriter? - Somewhat. Only recolours at the mo.
Whats your favorite egg? - I find Lugia's one really cool. Aerodactyl's pretty awesome too.
Any other reasons why your joining? - I want to make use and expand spriting skills. Plus this club looks like it's off for a good start, so I thought I'd give it a go.

I probably won't be able to make egg sprites as such, but with the aid of Photoshop, I'll give a go for animations -always wanted shiny eggs-

okay, what i just said makes everything sound much more easier, because i gotta be honest, i really dont think the current introduction is really "exactly" explaining what this group is about. - -;
ill just add this to the Intro Section.

EDIT - added a new section called "TOTE Rares".
please, if you have any legendary, shiny, or novelty pokemon, post how many of each you have, and ill add them to the count.

i know the questions in the form is pretty odd, but its used to see if people actually bothered to read the rules, and its also to try and figure out a few things amoung all the members that join. but, anyways, please use the form, or you wont be able to join.

the Eggdex is off limits for the rest of the day. a few rules will be made to keep it in perfect, neat style. please, continue to post eggs, but please be reminded that they wont be up until maitenance is over (maitenence will last for at least the rest of today, or until tommorrow). also, the ribbons will be turned into eggs instead. you may keep the current ribbons, but keep in mind that they will be removed from Photo Bucket soon, and youll have to replace them with eggs instead. for now, anyone who requests any Ribbons will be denied. (theres no point in requesting them, then me having to post them to give it to you, and in about a day, your ALL going to have to ask for them again).

Paint is easier to use, but I don't think you can make the background transparent with it. And I love layers too much, so it's GIMP all the way for me. XD Well, having said that, if you use the pencil tool on GIMP I find it's almost the same as paint. *shrug*
