It would be awesome if the Bidofo/Bidoof eggs looked slightly different, even if its just one pixel. Or maybe just have the daycare tell you if its a Bidoof/Bidofo egg if you have the silph scope.

I'm suggesting this because eventually I would like to shiny hunt Bidofo, and it would really suck if I ended up breeding a shiny Bidofo egg but didn't get it because I couldn't tell the difference between the eggs in the daycare and got a Bidoof instead.

Is this always true? I think some of the times I've used Novel power that it's randomly in the middle. But I can't confirm that right now *goes to use Novel power*.

But anyway, the point of the two eggs being the same are because they were designed that way, and I feel like it'd be pointless to change a design if it's intended to be that way.

This. Bidofo and bidoof eggs shouldn't be changed because the entire point of the egg is that you can't tell whether or not its a bidoof or a bidofo.

It's true that it's on the left, so you always get what you use Novel Power for. Although there's still the chance of getting Novelty eggs in the other slots.

Like Jen and I mentioned in a thread way, way back, the codes for the Bidofo and Bidoof eggs are actually different, so for example if you had two Bidoof and one Bidofo lying in daycare, you could simply check the egg code of the one that was different to the other two, and that would hold your novelty. Not sure if this still applies.

That or it gives Novel Power a valid reason for existing whichever came first. Since all other Novelty eggs are easily recognizable, it's just a matter of time and patience before you novelty Pokemon appears within the daycare/shelter. When it comes to Bidofo eggs however buying those Novel Power ups is a very justified purchase.

Since when is the dayare eggs rotating?
I bred a novelty egg and everytime i refresh it's in another slot!?
Pls help

This was done just recently because of how the Novel power would work at making the first egg always the novelty, now it's randomized :p
