Mine has to be Crystal. I had Silver, too, but Crystal is the one that really made me excited when I first saw it. It was also the first Pokemon game I beat (since I was like 6-7 at the time) P:

I played Silver and Crystal, so I'm kinda biased towards those two.

Wow, I'm surprised there were different answers to HeartGold/SoulSilver, as they're considered the best games out there. I chose HeartGold, the first and only game I completed. I had a handful of others but just didn't enjoy them enough to want to complete them.

Crystal has always been my favorite. I was so excited when that game was annouced that I saved up all of my allowance to get it. Very satisfying. Still have a couple copies of it. I have two psysical copies and the digital version for 3ds.

Crystal was the second gen game I played when I was a kid, so I have a super soft spot for it. Also was the first game I beat the Elite Four in

While I personally agree with the majority of posts here when I say I liked Crystal (especially with the option of picking the female trainer), I would have to say Silver on that front. Call me a bit biased but when I can catch Vulpix as a version exclusive as well as have an Ampharos without having to trade over to Crystal, I would hands down pick Silver...

I would definitely say Crystal, although I also like Silver because of Lugia. :3
