Here's my guess: the gift will be distributed based on how many Pass Orbs have been earned today at reset. This is why we apparently haven't seen anything yet.

There's been no Pokemon distribution today, because everyone got TEN shiny trinket boxes. That distribution happened shortly after reset.

I'm not quite so sure that statement is 100% accurate. I don't think "everyone" got ten shiny trinket boxes... unless the chests they came in are the same color as the normal red ones. Unless I'm supposed to be looking elsewhere as there appeared to be no notification that I received any new trinkets. I did open up a couple of boxes yesterday that held 4 trinkets each and I did score a couple that I didn't have before, but there were only two blue colored boxes hidden way down in my chest inventory.

Yup, I was looking on the site (I don't do the mobile version). It's ok though as I haven't been available much during the event and was just really hanging out and about yesterday and vying to do so again today. I think I might've gotten just the 2 blue boxes; I just can't be sure when they showed up because I literally have a wall of red boxes to weed through. I so need to pay my daughters to open them. OK, yeah. I know. The better thing is to spend a few days JUST opening the boxes. My goal is to get that astronomical number down to 10 or 20. Like that'll ever happen though!! *eek*

I know the feeling with the boxes, I have 2,595 trinket boxes just sitting there, waiting to be opened. Problem is you can only use chance power once a day, so I don't want to open boxes unless I have chance power activated so it's not just a million copies... which means I have roughly five minutes to attempt to open as many as I can before the timer runs out, then I'm done for the day. God forbid my internet craps out during that time.

Well, as far an Ultra Beasts go, none of them fit the tin/ten format besides Naganadel (nicknamed UB Stinger), but that's not new. Xurkitree almost fits with his codename UB Lightning... though I recall there was a plotline where ten years before the events of Sun and Moon, Looker, Nanu, and another unnamed individual went after Guzzlord to destroy it.

I'm really quite nervous for today's distribtion. My luck hasn't really been that great, I would have been so happy with a Victini, Shiny Litten or Valentacool, so fingers crossed. I think it's the anticipation that makes me most nervous, it's definitely the not knowing. I mean not getting anything doesn't feel too great either but I can be happy for my friends that do!

I can be grateful I received my Pink Caterpie (now a Pink Butterfree), so thank you very much!
