What unpopular Pokemon do you guys really like and think deserves more love?
My tops ones are probably lotad, rattata and swinub.

The ice cream line seems very underrated, and throughout the whole time that I have been playing Pokemon White (even competitive battling at times), I have never seen anyone use Vanilluxe, sadly. :c
Girafarig feels like a very unappreciated pokemon too.
Gengar... meh, I feel like Gengar is fine and has a fair amount of "love"/attention, though I suppose it varies.
There's a lot of pokemon that I happen to like that are very underrated, like Spinda... I love it so much but barely anyone else does. :c

Cubone and Marowak are a couple of my most favorite Pokemon, but oddly enough it doesn't seem like they are anyone else's.
Also, despite how much they are loved by NPCs in the older games, Clefairy doesn't seem that popular in reality.

Purugly is my favorite cat Pokemon so far, but everyone hates it because it's fat. :'( Fat things are super cute and cuddly.
Lickilicky is another I love, but his status keeps shifting back and forth. I don't know who thinks what of him now, but I know everyone hated him and called him useless at one point.
I love Dunsparce, too. It's so cute, with it's little wings and happy colors.
I love the Gastrodons, especially the blue. He looks like he needs a hug.
Vanillite is just as precious. I didn't evolve mine in Black because I wanted to have it as a little companion that I toted around. Even evolved, it's still cute. It gains a friend in it's final stage.
I like Conkeldurr even though I don't use him. (It's rare that I use Fighting types in general.)
Scrafty is cute, too, and I hear him get a lot of hate. (Or, at least, I did hear a ton of hate for him. I don't know if that's changed in the past month or so.) I actually use him, though, and I hope to have him as a more prominent member of my team in Black 2.
Druddigon is another. He's pretty strong, and his appearance grew on me extremely quickly.
EDIT: I love Cubone and Marowak. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have become interested in putting most of my effort into Defense. Clefairy and Clefable are awesome. Clefable was the first Pokemon I caught in Red that I didn't know existed. I loved her to death and she never left my team.

Thats usually what I hear for the dislike of Clefairy. That they are fat... but they don't really seem fat to me. I used Clefairy for roleplaying multiple times, because each time I use it the more they grow on me. I have one that I think I evolved into Clefable in Firered as well as a Marowak(that one hits nearly everything) and I hope I can use one or both in a play through again soon.
I always thought Druddigon was really rad because it reminded me of Rex from Super Mario World. XD
I don't think any of my other favorites are too ignored though. Gengar, Espeon, and Lilligant seem to have achieved some kind of popularity with people. I really like Plusle and Minun even though I rarely ever get a chance to use them, but I don't think I've met people who express hatred for them.

Agreed with Farfetch'd needing more love. He's a freakin' ninja duck who uses a green onion for a sword! Same with Dunsparce (tsuchinoko 'mon FTW. 
) Also, it doesn't seem to me like Absol gets much love. And I agree with IS: I <3 Purugly too. People always seem to rag on how his cry sounds like he's saying 'die' when slowed down (and thus joking that he wants to die because of that. Serebiiforums.com members, I'm looking at you. *glares*) I love him because he's a big fluffy kitty. Kitties = <3. And I like the Vanillish line too. It takes guts to put in a 'mon designed after ice cream in the games.

You know...now that I think about it, Riachu doesn't get much love. It's always 'OMG Pikachu's awesome!' I actually like Riachu more than Pikachu in my opinion.

When I look at it, it seems there is no love for chikorita. Am I the only one who's favorite starter is chikorita?
I think politoad, girafarig, grumpig, delibird, azurill, dunsparce, miltank,.... also need more love.
I don't really know wich pokemon are popular and wich aren't. I think these are a few of them.

There's also others like Forretress and Tyrogue which seems to completely slip out of everyone's mind, or they just don't like them so they don't mention them at all.

I don't really know wich pokemon are popular and wich aren't. I think these are a few of them.
Miltank is really nice, though by the time I get to a point of where I can catch it, I already have a full team. In general love, I actually am tied for favorite Johto starter with Cyndaquil. Meganium is possibly my favorite grass type.
I really wish/hope that one of the 5th generation games has the chance for contests, as I think the ice cream Pokemon would be amazing for them. Plus, the first evo is adorable!
Am I the only likes Mighteyena? I hate how in Emerald it gets a bad rap because the two teams seem to comprise of several Poochyena/Mightyena owners.

Drowzee and Hypno! In every Pokemon game I've played I've had a Hypno named Sheldon, and he's one of my powerhouses. It makes me upset when people find my two favorite Pokemon nothing but creeps that stalk children. :'< Like, I love them as much as I love Giratina.

I rarely ever see someone give Buizel/Floatzel any good anything. They're cute and powerful when trained right. I guess it's because everyone tends to use water starters...

Not sure how popular Mawile is, but people often seem surprised to know I like it.
One I rarely, if ever, see anyone talk about is the adorable Maractus as well as the neglected Mandibuzz and Purugly.

I like Carvanha, Sharpedo, Phanpy, Donphan (I'm not sure how much love they get :U), and most of all the Ice Cream Pokemon evolution line I see a lot of nostalgia freaks use the ice cream Pokemon as an excuse to say Unova Pokemon suck, and I hate that. they are my favorite ice types.

In reference to Purugly, thank you. Totally cute. I'd have my shiny that, but the cat it's name after is so tiny. Not to mention the HOURS or ribbing I would get when my husband found out. Despite the fact he doesn;t even play on this site and has no interest in doing so. -shrugs-
I actually to some extent like all the pokemon, and am not sure fully why get so much hate.

A lot of people seem to look over Furret and Linnone but they're my precious babbus. Granted, I don't battle competitively but they were always useful in the game and are cutie-patooties.
I've also got a soft spot for Pidgey.

Mimagmius, nobody likes Mismagmius. Otherwise, Torterra, I don't see many people who like the moving park much. :/ And Magikarp, everyone likes it's evolution, but Gyrados is waay too over powered compared to this awesome-sauce fishy.

I think Dunsparce needs some loving, no one seems to like it, or even pay attention to it. The poor thing needs at least a little more attention, I mean it's a bee, bees are cool! It also reminds me of a pillow.

Sawk. Nobody seems to like it at all, but I adore it. Hey, he's a cutie when he smiles and don't get me started on how strong he is in-game. I hated pure Fighting types until I trained a Sawk on Black and to me, the big blue fella needs a lot more love.
Beedrill. Nearly everyone loves Butterfree and not Beedrill but to me, Beedrill is a powerhouse. In SoulSilver it was my Beedrill who managed to whip Whitney's Miltank. He's awesome and I've never had that sort of experience with a Butterfree.
Druddigon. I'm not a huge Dragon type user, but this guy struck me as oddly cute and yet it gets so much hate. So not fair. And lastly...
Golett. I'm serious about this one. Everyone loves Golurk but no one wants Golett. They think it's useless until it evolves, it's only dead weight until it hits level 43 and they are very wrong! The little guy is one amazing tank and can turn the tide of battle very handily. My playthroughs on Black and White prove this. In Black, both Elesa and Clay kicked my tail in seven different ways and I had nothing to counter them. When I played White, I had a Golett on my team that I used against them both. Two battles that had taken me 30 minutes to complete the first time around were done in less than ten. I owe two of my wins on White to a little Golett named Braver and I haven't forgotten that. Golurk is awesome and I love it to pieces but Golett needs a lot more love and respect than what it's been getting.

Zubat. I adore that adorable little ball of screech.
Snubbull and, more improtantly, Granbull. I love bulldogs, and Granbull is overlooked. They're adorable and badass.
Ekans and Abrok. I know Jessie's was popular, but other than that people tend not to care for them. They've always been one of my favourites since pokemon red first came out.
Sentret. I use to have a plushie of one, and they were the softest and cutest little things.
Trubbish. A lot of people say the designers have run out of ideas with Gen 5, and they say he's proof of it. I think he's one of the most uniquely designed pokemon I've come across.
Croconaw. Everyone loves Totodile and Feraligatr, but they tend to ignore the amazing second evolution.
Hoppip. Not all fond of his evolutions, but I love that first evo. He's pretty useless, but that doesn't stop him from being one of the cutest little things I've seen.
Noctowl. They are completely amazing and their design it perfect, but hardly anyone seems to care about them.
Rhyhorn/Rhydon. Relicanth. Grimmer/Muk. Weedle/Kakuna/Beedrill. Spearow. Mankey/Primape.

I freaking love Sigilyph and it's complex design, and it's really powerful despite not evolved or evolvable.
The dark types from gen 3 don't get much love, especially Shiftry, Cacturne, and Crawdaunt. :c
As for legendaries, I adore Heatran because it kinda looks like a lava puppy c: Sadly, Heatran is usually over shadowed by other legendaries like Darkrai and Manaphy. Arceus also doesn't get much love despite being freaking god. Almost all of the people I know who like Arceus are noobs
Another one of my favorite legendaries is Articuno. I dunno why, but people prefer Zapdos over her. Articuno is probably the most unique, as it is not based off of a famous mythological bird (Zapdos = Thunderbird, Moltres = phoenix). Also, Articuno is the prettiest and it is the very first legendary Pokedex # wise. How much cooler can that get? (pun not intended)
I also like other underrated 'mons, like Muk, Electrode, the Murkrow line (A whole lot <3), the Snorunt line, and Linoone, who seems to have a lot of love here.

I would say in comparison to Pikachu - Raichu. The ears, the tail? Reminds me a bit of a rabbit, somewhat.
Then there's Azumarril, same reasons as Raichu, the pre-evolution is more popular. He's sort of become a hit among my friends when I used a sub-punching Azumarril in a few WIFI matches (and why I wanted a Focus Punch move tutor for B2W2,,,)
I think outside of that, I really like Furret and Sandslash. I think Furret was really forgettable by most when Zigzagoon and Linoone burst onto the scene, but after people thought Tropius was a better HM slave in Gen 3, Linoone lost relevancy. And when I played Blue and Yellow, Sandslash was one of my core members.
Besides that, Wingull and Pelipper. I think most people were just as annoyed with it while surfing, meanwhile Tentacool got the props for being more common and nostalgic as well as being more viable competitively. I actually tend to use Wingull in all my gen 3 games, excluding Emerald because Marril was made available early and I could raise a Azumarril...
Uh... Gulpin anyone? Not really that useful in RSE, but in XD it was a great pokemon for helping to capture Shadow Pokemon. Became a core member of my main team.

I don't know how unpopular it is, but I just LOVE Sandshrew. It's adorable. I've never seen anyone talk about it before. And Mamoswine. Another pokemon I don't see talked about a lot...the swinub line doesn't seem to get much love in general

Everyone seems to hate rattata, zubat, and tentacool because they're ~too common~ or whatever, but I really really love all three of them!! Rattata is just really cute (so is raticate imo but that's an unpopular opinion), and zubat and tentacools evolutions are really cool and useful (in-game, at least). 
I can understand why people don't like them though (but seriously, repels aren't that expensive...)

The Vanillite evo line! Vanilluxe is BEAST. My Vanilluxe can take down dragons with a single attack. I think their design is really delicious cute too. I've always wondered why so many people bash them when they're obviously awesome.
A lot of people (mostly genwunners) bash the Unova starters too, especially Oshawott. I think they're all precious! My fav Unova starter is Snivy, though I think Snivy is pretty popular among non-genwunners. Why wouldn't it be, though? Just look at that sass! Samurott is totally boss too.
I also like Mienfoo/Mienshao. They're really graceful-looking for fighting-types. Also Scolipede! That big-ass insect is a permanent part of my Black team. Horsea/Seadra/Kingdra, Misdreavus/Mismagius, Sentret/Furret, Hoothoot/Noctowl, Paras/Parasect and Surskit/Masquerain are also precious to me.
Shame, because he's one of my favourites.
I like the Mareep line! Especially Flaaffy.

Just to name a few. Skarmory deserves more too. My group of friends HATE majority of the above Pokemon. Typhlosion is so perfect to me. Epic stats, large movepool, and has my favorite fire move that is not exclusive to a legendary: Eruption. The one Pokemon line I have NEVER had a use for due to the lacking movepool and LOW stats is the Chikorita line.

I adore Spinarak and Ariados. Don't see many people out there who like them, which is a shame because they're really cool pokemon.
...Of course, I understand not using them in-game because Spinarak's stats are pretty low. xD
I'm also pretty fond of Snover, which I never seem to hear much about.

I don't see much of a fanbase for Audino. It's so cute, and man, can it tank. Fighting against mine in the Mixer PWT sucked so much, it made me want to cry. XD

I love Spinarak and Ariados too! I seem to have a liking to spider Pokemon, since I have trained them well and a Galvantula is part of my Pokemon Black team! 8D They're amazing, epic and strong <3 And they grow fast! XD
I like Spheals, they're so adorable! I think it's wrong not to look at it and not say "awwww"! xD

That covers my dislike list of Pokemon quite good except for Tangela.
And I wouldn't say I don't like Koffing, Weezing, Voltorb and Megneton, but Voltorb landed on my dislike list for it's hobby to explode.
I do like Arbok, Seviper, Scrafty and with ther rest I guess I tend to like the popular Pokemon as well.
Depends not only on how weird they look but also on the attacks, IV's and the name. In German we have quite some weird translations for the Pokemon names but I guess you can generally say that most poison, ghost and bug Pokemon are disliked by the mass.

I really love Driftloon, Spoink, Luvdisk, Castform, Combee, and Shuppet! Those are probably my top pokemon. They're cute, and need more love! I tend to lean towards the cutesy pokemon and everyone calls them useless...but just like any pokemon, they can be trained to be awesome!

This isn't put up a lot, but there's a lot of hate on Poke' rodents.
I mean the Pokemon Rattatta, Sentret, Zigzagoon, Bidoof, and Patrat and their evolutions.
I love all of them a lot, especially Zigzagoon and Linoone.
And Zubat gets a lot of hate, too. So does Farfetch'd and Delibird.

I don't get all the hate for Trubbish. Besides the argument that yes, it's a walking garbage bag, it can be very cute. (Not competitive heavy, is Trubbish a bad pokemon stat-wise? If so, there is still too much hate.)

Same actually. However, Keldeo is, to me, the greatest Pokemon ever, and yet no one seems to like him. I remember seeing aYouTube video on some guy's top 10 worst Pokemon, and Keldeo was on that list. And that made me quite upset.

I find it kind of sad that Mime Jr. and Mr. Mime doesn't receive love because it's outclassed by the Ralts line. Also, the episode featuring Mr. Mime in the anime where Ash's mom gets one is one of my favorite episodes from the Kanto Saga and James's Mime Jr. always brought a smile on my face.

I feel like no one pays much attention to Nidoqueen. Nidoqueen is a very useful in-game Pokemon in the earlier generations, evolving early with a Moon Stone and learning tons of different TMs. When I played Yellow, she was an invaluable teammate. I think she's overshadowed by her "big brother" Nidoking, just because she isn't as competitively viable, which is a shame. Nidoking doesn't get a lot of love, either...but Nidoqueen seems to get even less.
I agree with everyone who said Purugly as well. I know it has "ugly" in the name, but I don't understand people who think it's not cute. I actually think it's cuter than Glameow! I love fat, cranky cats.

I'm usually not one for bird types but I think Honchkrow's really cool! I love that awesome mafia boss bird, haha. I'm not sure if it's really unpopular but I haven't yet seen people who list it as a Pokémon they like so... yeah.

I'm not sure how many fans Inkay and Malamar have, but I don't really see that many folks saying they like them a lot. Shame too, considering they're the first canonical DRK/PSY types out there. And Malamar is really powerful if raised right. I have one on my team in X nicknamed after the famous YT LPer chuggaaconroy and he's helped me a lot. He's Super Trained in ATK quite a bit, and he hits really hard as a result. I swept Anistar Gym with him and another party member nicknamed after a YT LPer, NCS (after NintendoCapriSun, of course.)

My favorite pokemon are bug type. I feel that, with few exceptions, most people don't like my favorite type (or will stop using them as soon as they get something "better").
Other personal favorites that seem to get the short end of the stick are Farfetch'd and Octillery.

I also really loved Lanturn.. it's like the dolphin of the pokemon universe!
And for some reason, I've been obsessed a little over Aurorus for some time now. I simply love the concept and the design of that poke. And I insist that he's usable in OU with a good deal of backup (sticky web and no fighting actually), and people don't want to hear about it, even though i have so many saved fights where he pawned in OU because he is kinda like a surprise and people don't expect much (he's also good at surviving against Solar Beam Charizards, Qagsires, Talonflames, unboosted Gyaras, Milotics and basically anything water (and other pokes as well) and then OHKOing with ancient power/freeze dry
Also, I freakin' like Glaceon... Glacia needs more love

Hmm... Trubbish, Gliscor, Honchkrow, Crobat, Arbok, Cinccino, Toxicroak, Stunky, Froslass, Huntail, Breloom, Girafarig, Porygon, Purugly and the Bulbasaur line are the only ones that come to mind as Pokémon that I like that are seen as unpopular or are disliked a lot by others.

Crobat is my top-4th favorite Pokémon and it seems nobody really likes it? I always have one on my team in every DS/3DS Pokémon game I play (HG, Platinum, White, Black 2, X and Y so far). Teach them Acrobatics and they tend to OHKO most (non-resistant) things.
My top-third favorite is Torterra and I don't think I've seen people use that, either.

Relicanth. Even though I kinda use it as my HM slave, I do really like it and its real-world counterpart the Coelacanth. It's surprisingly incredibly bulky, and it even learns Head Smash!

I like a lot of pokemon that are just not "valid" for competitive play, which probably explains why I don't play competitively at all. :P
My favorite type is Bug, so you can probably already see some of my problems. :P
Beyond that though, I don't usually like most pokemon's final form, so I end up "missing out" on an evolution line's "full potential."
For instance, I like...
Scyther > Scizor
Haunter > Gastly > Gengar
Cubone > Marowak
Bulbasaur > Ivysaur > Venusaur
I know there are others, because I will sometimes have a full team of pokemon where I don't want any of them to evolve in to their next stage.
I also really like Smeargle and Farfetch'd. So yeah...

Persian. I used one in one of my LeafGreen playthroughs, and it actually pulled through quite well, along with getting me tons of money with Pay Day + Amulet Coin.
Also, Lanturn. I never really realized it until recently, but I guess I've always liked Lanturn. Something about its design, and the way it glows.... I don't know. :shrug:
I also haven't seen many people who like Quagsire's line. That derpy look on Quagsire's face as its getting pummeled is so funny! It doesn't have a care in the world. Also, to quote Chuggaaconroy on Quagsire's preevolution, Wooper, "If you can look that happy all the time, and have no arms, you are amazing, and you are truly a king among kings."

aesthetically speaking, i really love elgyem, cresselia, altaria, the sandile line, the budew line, the shellos line, and the deerlings. battlewise, all electric types need more lovin. luxray has been a staple of my pearl team forever. same with manetric on my gba sapphire. also, metagross is an absolute beast that will crush your foes with the fury of a thousand suns. Purugly, drifblim, arcanine, shiftry, tyrantum, and wailord are all complete tanks that are too often overlooked.
also, i've always loved the trash cloak burmy. i have no idea why.

The little adorable Zygarde Core, alias Squishy.
OK, I know that's just a separate form of an already existing Pokemon. But still! How can you not love the little guy!?
