I really, really want to learn how to use wifi on my dsi
Okay so, I don't have WiFi at home. (I'm supposed to get free wifi cause our neighbor has it and my dad uses it on the ps3 all the time but it won't work for my dsi)
And I've tried going to the library and some other spots that have free wifi,
but it won't connect. Any tips?

Also, I've been thinking of maybe saving up to buy a wireless router, but I don't know much about how that works out, so fill me in on that?
(I mean like do I have to pay a contract to use it, or is accessible with only specific internet companies, etc)

I'll do a few sketches or recolor sprites if anybody is able to help me with this :]

you have to set up the connection first.
you go to your wi-fi settings, and choose
"Connection Settings". You make a new one,
then say if you are in Mcdonalds. It will look for the wi-fi there.
It will work, after your done, you can connect ONLY there.
also, you can set up a router, too. just buy it at a computer store.
im sure you wont have a contract or anything.

First off saving up to buy a router is a great idea since it provides you with not only your OWN connection but a better and faster one as well. You can also password protect it so that only you have access to it.

But onto your issue, here's a step by step manual on setting up your Wi-Fi on the Wi-Fi options on your "Continue" screen of which ever Pokemon game you are using:

You're probably out of range. I've had the exact same problem with my DSi, just not at my house.
