I wonder if hunt power works on Meltan. There wasn't any mention of such within update notes, and besides, i think getting a shiny one is somewhat more feasible than a standard shiny legendary.

I still have an unhatched Meltan from the last batch I summoned, but I decided to move it to the walker and use the box, since activating it asap would help me get candies faster.
I got four in under a minute and another one slightly over the minute mark. When I found the last one I had a bit over 21 minutes left. It's been about a year and a half since I've been active here - lots have been added since! My friend recently wanted to try this site out and managed to get me back, and honestly? I miss playing here. I finally completed That Burning Desire for the first time! I don't know if I want to try it twice more or not...

I have 6 recorded eggs on my shine recorder (even though I've hatched 11 eggs, couldn't start the hunt until I had Meltan registered in my dex).
