Hatched a SWSH shiny, but site won't count it., Also won't let me sign up for a new SWSH. |

So yesterday, I signed up for the SWSH, selecting Nickit. A few minutes ago, I hatched a Shiny Nicket...but the site just ignored it. It's acting like I never signed up at all. When I look at my Shine Recorder, it says I'm still signed up, but that I didn't hatch any eggs. In addition to that, I cannot select a different SWSH Pokemon.
Can anybody tell me what just happened? EDIT: Here is the Shiny in question:

You obtained the egg several hours too early. The SWSH only counts eggs that you obtained after the hunt starts.

I obtained and hatched the egg after the hunt started, as far as I know. Also, I hatched some more Nickit eggs afterward, and they're still not counting. |

You obtained it after signups started, but there is a day of grace period between signups and the actual SWSH starting. The actual SWSH only started about four hours ago. You obtained the egg for your Nickit about 11 hours ago.
