I've been trying to figure out how you can evolve them. Do they even evolve at all? i saw a spring quilava once. so maybe it's a special item? please help. Thanks.

As it says in the questions and help forum, evolution requirements for every Pokémon, canon and novelty, may be found in that Pokémon's dex entry.
