So when Living Arrow wrote up information on the contest halls, he wrote a profile for each of the Hall Leaders giving their names, ages, and battle styles.

The thing is, the other major personalities in Furoh (the Gym Leaders, as well as the Elite Four and Champion) don't have any information on their personalities that I can find, aside from their portrayals in roleplays.

And the Elite Four... are they the same people as the town founders (Blue, Silver, Ruby, and Dusk?) or are they individuals with completely different type match ups?

And the Champion... I guess you're going for an enigmatic approach for him (or her), but I'd like to know who he or she even is.

And then there are random other recurring characters too.


So a few questions...

1.) Where can we find information on Gym Leaders, the Elite Four, and the Champion? Not necessarily to challenge them, but for reference purpose. (Like if someone was the Champion's Fangirl or something.)

2.) If we ask a Mod politely, would it be possible to encounter a Gym Leader/Hall Leader/Elite Four Member/Town Founder/Champion if they're controlled by a mod?

...Alright, maybe not the Champion (unless as an RP contest reward).

But it was just something I was curious about.

I was thinking maybe if enough mods and volunteers worked together, we could compile like... a Hitchhiker's guide to Furoh or something, with major NPCs and a list of small towns people run into.

Though, this is a good start.

A wiki would be nice. I mean... it might be off putting to new members, but it would be useful.

In addition to Gym Leaders and other important figures, what about less-established but still important people? For instance, the Interpol's presence in Furoh will likely have some trainers running into officers like Jennifer from time to time, stuff like that.

Oooh, yeah.

Bill, do you think that a wiki would be a good idea?

You would also have the added benefit of having users be able to add content. That way, the mods would only need to read it over and approve.

It would also be a good place to keep track of what has been used in RPs, to prevent overuse of legendaries for example (we can't have Mewtwo appear in 40 different RPs :p).

I, for one, have no idea how to set up a wiki. I wouldn't mind over seeing it, but there is a LOT of room for error.

Unfortunately, I am a little busy these days to learn how. Maybe some day I can, but for now, one of the other mods will have to take it up.

I do, however, like the idea. BUT... what about profiles? They are, after all, a history of the character and are, therefore, changing.

I have an idea of how to set up a wiki, though it'll take time to set up. I've never done it before.

But the good thing about a wiki format is that it's dynamic. When a profile changes, it can easily be updated to reflect new information.

When I get home, I'll try to set something up. A prototype.

I legit wrote up a profile for Maxy Z, Fidona Leader. The fact it doesn't show up saddens me greatly. And another site I go to uses a Wiki. In fact, one of the old moderators (Velyoukai) is also a moderator there. I'll ask him, but hey, if you guys know more than I do (next to nothing), feel free to just tell me what to do.

You suggested a Wiki, 2gamers? Never caught wind of that. Also Matt Fletcher is a millionaire playboy heir by day, member of a daring gang of rouges at night.

I am aware i am not a mod, but i have some idea how to set up a wiki. I've done it previously but have disowned it.
