It's alright, but...please tell me you are joking about that Lickilicky. Replace HP flying with Return. Also, why are you only running Stored Power on Xatu?

Erm, wouldn't this go better in the RMT section, just out of curiosity?
Also the Lati twins are going to completely overrun your Hydreigon, not to mention Salamence, so don't count on outspeeding them without Choice Scarf, honestly. Drei's good--really good--but he's not going to be outspeeding Gen 3's Dragons without some help. Also I feel like Xatu could very easily be replaced with Sigilyph, who on the whole is a much, much better Psychic/Flying type that can utilise both Cosmic Power and Stored Power to their full effect. Personally, I would prefer Iron Head instead of Bullet Punch on Scizor.

Personally, I would prefer Iron Head instead of Bullet Punch on Scizor. The chance of flinch doesn't outweigh priority in a game where things keep getting faster and stronger. Scizor is still strong enough to hit hard with a Technician-boosted Bullet Punch and doesn't have to worry about being outrun thanks to Bullet Punch's +1 priority. Running Iron Head looks tempting until you remember that Scizor is actually pretty slow. -------------------- |

I agree. so what some common weather leads? I need to know so i can choose what to put onto Lickilicky instead of his silly moveset that he has right now.

Your biggest concern is going to be rain now that we have a non-legendary running Drizzle. That would be Politoed, of course. Hail still isn't widespread enough to be that much of a bother, and Sandstorm is what it's always been, which is packing Tyranitar. Those two--Politoed and Tyranitar--are really the only two carriers of auto-weather in OU to really worry about.
And no one cares that much about Sun. Ninetales carries Drought now, though, so watch out for that. Otherwise it's kind of a toss-up; weather moves can be thrown onto defensive Pokemon (I'm personally trying to run a Rain Dance team using Steels like Bronzong) that are good for getting in, weathering up, and getting out. -------------------- |

Hold Item: Life Orb
Trait: Cloud Nine EVs: 116 HP / 252 Atk / 140 SpA Brave Nature - Fire Blast - Power Whip - Earthquake - Return/Explosion Wish isn't an option for you since it's an event-exclusive move, nor is Heal Bell, leaving Lickilicky without too many options for coming back in. Your best bet would be to take out the offending weather-starter in one hit. This set came out of Smogon but I've de-slashed Rock Slide for accuracy's sake. (Power Whip isn't much better, but it can take on Politoed.) Or you can just Explode and call it a day, provided they don't call you on it. If you want more survivability, run a Choice Band set, but your moves are pretty limited if you can't breed for a better Cloud Nine. EDIT: It would not be a bad idea to take out Fire Blast and replace with something else if you don't want that one special move clogging you up. In that case you might move the SpAtk EVs elsewhere, either to Speed or to Defense. EDIT2: I have never used Lickilicky before, so I have nothing really intelligent to say about it. You would do well to use it in battles and determine its weak points for yourself. This post has been edited by Grimscead: Jul 9 2011, 05:49 PM -------------------- |

How does switching Fire blast with Dragon Tail sound? It switches any pesky pokes that I can't deal with out.
Edit: Also, the highest speed a Lickilicky can have is 218... How many pokes are going to have a speed less then that? should I put a priority move in? This post has been edited by brainard52: Jul 9 2011, 08:52 PM -------------------- |

It would get you around Lickilicky's slower speed, so it isn't a bad idea, actually.
Lickilicky's base speed is only 50; pretty much everything is going to outrun it, especially under weather with the Swift Swimmers. That's why it's run so defensively; it needs to take a hit and then be able to hit back harder. It's also why you ran Gyro Ball, actually; it can capitalize on a slower speed and be stronger on the whole. (Steelix and Bronzong both benefit from this move in the same way.) -------------------- |

I changed Lickilicky into a Specially offensive Nidoking, and it does about 100x better than my lickilicky. generally, i get 2 kills with it before anything even happens to my team, so i get a decent head start. I don't remember what all the stats were, so I'll edit it when I can.
