As for per region...

Kanto: Flareon (Redundant, no?)
Johto: Teddyursa (Come on... It's a bear... It's a TEDDY BEAR POKEMON, what's not to love? )
Hoenn: Treeko (A toughie, not many 3rd gen pokemon I really liked, mainly 1st/2nd gen stuff)
Sinnoh: Empoleon (One of the few new ones I liked alot, bot 4th gen had more I like than 3rd)

In Kanto, I'm rather fond of Kanghaskhan, Lapras, and Poliwhirl. I like having female Gengars, too.
Johto was my least favorite set, but has most of my favorites, ironically. Spinirak is my favorite Poke'mon ever, and I just love Chikorita, Ariados, and Octillery. Chikorita is actually my favorite starter, and I refuse to play Gold version without starting with a female Chikorita, traditionally named "Checkers". *Is sexist and will never raise a male Chikorita.* Sudowoodo is also a favorite of mine, along with Tyranitar.
Hoenn had alot. Swampert, Linoone, Delcatty, Aron, and Aggron are some of those I love. Manetric is pretty cool aswell.
Sinnoh...has a couple. Drifblim is my second-favorite Poke'mon ever (And mine thus being named after my favorite person in the world.), Bidoof is adorably cute and Bibarel...who doesn't love it? Mine is named "Mcbeaver", and he's so cool! Glaceon is a beautiful Poke'mon, and Budew is so freaken cute! Croakgunk was a Poke'mon I originally hated, but then learned to love. It's so cool, yet wierd.

My top five are, in order:

I like chikorita and family, because thats what I started with on Crystal (my first game). Plus, meganium is really BA. Blastoise, Typhlosion, Espeon, Tyranitar, Alakazam, Gardevoir, Luxray, and Gengar are also faves. But, the Johtos were the best.

Hmm....I have one top favorite evolution line for each generation:

Kanto: Meowth/Persian. I like cats, and well, they're cats.
Johto: Sentret/Furret. I just like them for some reason.
Hoenn: Mawile. It's called the deceiver pokemon. Enough said.
Sinnoh: Drifloon/Drifblim. They're my favorite ghost type.

All in all, though, I really like ghost types.

Absolute favorite: Drifloon/Drifblim.

Mesprit is awesome. She has good attack and defenses, so you can do just about anything you want with her. (Pokésav may apply, see package for details.) You can put her on a trick room team or let her sweep the battle tower with special moves but a careful nature (I've done it). You can relax and listen to her cry on repeat, annoying your roommates to no end.

Good use of a masterball, yes?

Her only problem is lack of leaning psychic by level-up. (thanks for the second masterball, flamer. )

Shedinja I love, purely for the design and how bizarre it is. I like quirky and bizarre things.

I also love froslass, though I'm not sure why. I liked her more after finding out that her body was hollow and noticing that her "arms" are connected to her head/body.

I love all rock, ground, and steel types. Lucario and Riolu, Claydol, Flygon, Garchomp, Scizor, Marowak, Corsola, Magcargo, the list goes on. I'm like an eccentric gym leader. In fact I almost always train only those three types exclusively, and I even use them often in competitive battling to the best of my ability.

I loves me a Slowpoke. They may not battle well and they are a little slow, but they are adorable and huggable. Cuddling a Slowpoke should make everyone's day better. They're also fun to surprise people with since no expects the Spanish Inquisition Slowpoke.

Surprisingly, my favourite is probably Pichu. It's been my favourite since I first saw it so overall top spot goes to it. But current favourite has gotta be Cherrim. It's just so cute. It surprises me though since overall I don't like grass Pokémon. XD;

I have a biased liking for shadow powers, ghosts, AND doppelganging...so a Pokemon that includes all three? I'm there!

runners up are Flygon, because it's a cool-looking bug-esque sand dragon, and Abomasnow, for being a tree yeti.

it's sad about Abomasnow though...I would use it all the time if it didn't have a billion and one weaknesses...
