I realize I'm probably the only one who gives a half a lick about this, and I'm not sure if it's been suggested before - but are there any planned mobile apps or smartphone friendly site options for GPX plus?
For example, sites like google, etc. tend to have easier to navigate sites for smartphones. I only ask because while my droid is able to access the site beautifully, obviously a lot of features don't work as well since it's a smartphone browser instead of an actual browser. For example, the "open all eggs" portion doesn't work. And while the site's coding and layout is fantastic, it's not so for a phone where you can only zoom in so far. I find myself fat fingering links all the time. (For example, the heritage info is super close to the feeding/holding egg buttons, so I end up hitting that a lot.) Also navigating the PC is nigh impossible. And I apologize because I realize it would probably be a really hard thing to code for a relatively small...tiny...okay just me, portion of the playerbase, but it'd be nice. And yes, wah-wah-wah trumpet sound at the thought of me playing the site all over the place but hey. Pipe dream and all, but I thought it might be worth suggesting. |

I use my iPhone/iPod all the time to hatch egg/move to pc/etc during class or when I'm too lazy to get on my comp :P I have to say I don't really have any problems accessing or doing anything on the site, well except for moving poke to and from the pc. I wouldn't really mind an app or something more mobile friendly, but it should be a priority.

Yeah, gpx doesn't work on my phone's browser It can't seem to handle the... page refreshes, or popups, or something? Like, I can get onto the site, but if I have an egg ready to hatch, and I select hatch from the dropdown menu - it just sits there xD I think it doesn't support java, that's why. Darn :K

-Bows- Now the only question left is what's the URL for it? It's not auto detecting when I'm using a mobile device XD Or is this still in the works and not released yet? -------------------- |

Mr. Doof of the shinedoof clan, this is awesome. Are the links going to be spaced out at all? I think the people on the train are starting to think I'm nuts because of how often I yell at my phone for fat-fingering something. Unless there's a way to zoom in further on the droid that anyone knows. It took me forever to figure out that double tapping instead of spreading your fingers does it...even with the tutorial telling me so...I am terrible. |

The site isn't done yet, hence the lack of an announcement thread or anything. But if you've been following my status updates, I have been working on this for nearly a month now, and it is getting close to completion.
Also, the menu itself is much larger, yup yup. -------------------- |

That's awesome! I can totally see how this will be helpful. The blotched out spots must be newer things that haven't come out yet, am I correct?
And I'd just like to point out that the first sentence should read more like "Welcome to the mobile version of GPXPlus.net! Big Bidoof designed this for usage...." The commas don't read well. -------------------- |

No, the bolded name is the user's name, not mine, yup yup. :P Then you might want to switch it around a bit because even with the commas and being grammatically correct, it just sounds weird. "Welcome, [user], to the mobile version of GPXPlus.net [which is] designed for [use]..." The other brackets just make the sentence sound more natural, but even without those changes it is still correct. It definitely needs to be "... as well as obtain new ones ..." though. -------------------- |

Love it! But am afraid I still won't be able to use it on my phone, seeing as how I don't know what a webkit-based browser is xD Anyone able to explain to me? Haha. As I pointed out earlier, I don't think my mobile browser can handle java/popups/etc so it's a lot less high-tech than the Androids/iphones/etc :/ |

Might I suggest, then, "Welcome, [user name here], to the mobile version of GPXPlus.net which was designed for usage... -------------------- |

In truth it should be, "Welcome to GPX+ mobile, shouldn't you be doing your work right now? But if you want to click some eggs..."
