Well, or at least one question. I've read the help page, and I can't quite find the answers for these ones at least. (I love, love love that there's a chart for what's strong against what!)

First, do we need a shine recorder to hunt shiny Pokemon? I know you need one for the sitewide hunt, but what about a personal one?

Second, are we allowed to link to the GPX wiki in posts?

Third, can Ditto breed with legendary Pokemon? Are there such things as shiny legendaries?

Hmm, oh! There are a lot of greyed out items in the pass powers shop. Are they not in stock when they're like that?


Last is for the creators, admins, and anyone else who maintains this site: IT IS AWESOME!

It's addicting, it's super easy to interact with the eggs, you don't need to hold down such and such key and keep clicking, and you're not restricted to just using the mouse! I love that there's a shelter, and a way to store three eggs!! I like that here on the forum there's the quick access thing, where you can insert code, and yesterday!! WOW!

1. No, you can seek shinies without one, but again, if you want to participate in the Bi-Monthly hunts you'll need to buy it all the same.

2. Yes.

3. No: legendary Pokemon and others in the "No Eggs" group cannot be bred under any circumstance. Legendaries can be shiny, though, when you hatch them from eggs obtained from explorations, events, summons, and so on.

Grayed-out powers can't be used at that time. FOr example, Defog power only works during Foggy weather, and Search power only works when you need to hunt an item for an exploration.

You can get shinies without it, but the recorder will help you track how many eggs you hatched (which also allows you to use Hunt Power/Sweet Honey) and start/end dates. And there are some achievements related to recorded hunts, so it will help with that too.

There's no problem with that AFAIK.

No (though one of the site NPCs is able to breed legendaries, so if you find one in the shelter it's probably because of her), and yes.

It's just that they're not available because you don't need them right now. There's no use buying Defog Power if there's no fog, Novel Power if you don't have a novelty pokémon in the daycare, Summon Power if you don't have summoning items or Search Power if you're not in the item-finding task of an exploration.
