Pokemon cloning glitch. 1) Go to GTS center 2) Get into the GTS 3) Deposit Pokemon, wait for 'counter' at the bottom-right corner to rotate 8 times 4) Right after it finishes rotating 8 times, turn DS off (the counter should have been pointing up) Is that what we're supposed to do here? Apparently, you have to be pretty lucky for it to work. This one works for the American version. I've tried it. It worked once. I tried it too...it didn't worked -------------------- |

It takes loads of practice, I can't even explain the glitch myself.
Anyways, it goes more like.. 1) Go to the GTS 2) Get into the GTS 3) Deposit Pokemon, count how many rotations and movements it takes (for me, it takes about 7.5-7.75ish) 4) Take out the Pokemon 5) Deposit it again, then turn it off 1-2 MOVEMENTS, NOT rotations, before however many you previously counted It's not necessarily 8, which is why I'm posting this instead. Like I said, it's difficult to do but it's not as hard when you get the hang of it. -------------------- |

It is also recommended that you do step 3 more than once, if you do it your way.

In Ilex Forest between Azalea Town and Goldenrod City, I found a shiny Caterpie early in there. It was about the same except gold. I was more careful than you could possibly imagine. I caught it, but I restarted for some reason and it's gone.
That's the only shiny I've ever seen besides the Red Gyarados. -------------------- |

I can get the cloning glitch to work pretty well but I have a wireless router... It blinks whenever it's sending a signal to my DS and I turn if off right when it blinks since that's when you need to turn if off; right before the offering phase shows. So yeah, 1-2 ticks or movements on the clock. If you're using a Nintendo USB thing, you have no idea when it's sending the signal and about to go into the phase so you have to guess and have a lot of luck... Keeping the internet steady helps. And count to 17 seconds if you don't know what revolutions are. XD
Another cloning glitch that I discovered is when you're trading using friend codes... It's the same as the link cable cloning in older games where one turns off and the other doesn't and a pokemon gets deleted. I only got this glitch to work 3 times and I don't know who/when to turn it off at the right moment yet so if anyone likes experimenting, I'd love that. XD -------------------- |

Yeah it was an accident too... It was an error that made us turn off our games. I had a Shaymin, Shiny Lugia, and a Bidoof deleted because of that... Oh noes. But why do my pokemon always get deleted? -.-
Also, anyone tried the Tweaking Glitch (riding crazy on a bike up and down near the pokemon center to get the map to not load properly and make invisible walls/voids)? I heard you can get Shaymin/Darkrai that way but I haven't tried it recently... I did it once in Jubilife and I yelled at my brother since I thought the game was screwed up. XD -------------------- |

Explain this "Tweaking Glitch" a bit further, if you can.

Does the cloning glitch hurt the game at all? No, actually. It relies entirely on a feature built into the game, so it's not a "glitch" but the abuse of a game feature. The only actual risk is if someone nicks your Pokemon off the GTS :S

Does the cloning glitch hurt the game at all? No, D/P uses a back-up save file so if you do it correctly, it should say that when you turn it off. You can't ever lose your pokemon if you offer Arceus since it's filtered or blocked from letting others offer it. Once an event comes out, they'll lift the filter... So it's best to use level 100 female under-used first evolution pokemon like Diglett or Pineco or Spoink. Not ever a hacker would have those. xD Explain this "Tweaking Glitch" a bit further, if you can. I saw a video on youtube so if you can, check there please. Basically in the video, the person was in Solaceon Town. About 2-4 steps to the left of the pokemon center is where you would normally run your bike up and down for hatching babies. ;P So cross that line (it's where the game will load the map) and go up/down on your bike through the city but press the up/down/left/right buttons basically at the same time when you cross that line and just go wild on the D-Pad (I heard it's easier to do on the DS Lite) and ride as if you going sideways and backwards on your bike but still advancing up/down you know? xD Umm sorry I can't explain it too well... But if you ride crazy enough, for some reason the map won't load properly on the route above solaceon and either be an invisible wall, black void, or to the right near the unown place will be a block of trees or even a random cliff. If you "tweak" near the resort area, you can get Shaymin since the person got to the island part but it froze when he talked to her. -------------------- |

Wait, do you need to keep the pokemon in there? If you're doing it correctly, there will be one in your party and one in the GTS thing. If you're doing it incorrectly then there will either be one in the GTS thing or one in your party, but not both at the same time. If your save file is "corrupted" then it will be in your party.Angel, can you link me to a youtube vid? And is it available in the US version? -------------------- |

Solaceon Town and Tweaking Guide
Jubilife City Jubilife (freezes) These two places are usually the easiest and there are more videos so search. I did the Jubilife one and I got an invisible wall like in the movie but the guy also got a dark void. Yeah, it's for the US version and I'm not sure about the Japanese one. Just see the movies and do the same erratic movement on your bike to get some results... xD Edit: I hope those work... I clicked on them and it said something about getting Flash downloaded... xD Just search "tweaking pokemon" and that should help. -------------------- |

As far as I've heard, tweaking won't do anything to your game except maybe freeze it. If you see an invisible wall or any other map error, go into your items and then go out and the rest of the map will fix itself so the glitch isn't permanent at all.
