Hello! Is there anyone who is currently playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf?

I absolutely love the most recent update. It includes the introduction of meow coupons. How awesome!
It has definitely sparked a new sense of motivation for me. I love daily achievements and tasks. c:

I've been playing New Leaf on and off. It's fun, though I'm not sure why but it doesn't seem to hold the same playability as Wild World did for me. The villagers seem less interesting and wind up repeating the same things over and over again. Another thing is that playing it daily is just slow. The new daily challenges are cool and all but MEOW points aren't really that useful. I usually wind up playing it for like and hour and doing daily stuff and then not touching it for the rest of the day. Shops never seem to have any furniture I want, either.

I dunno, I used to time skip all the time in Wild World, but I decided to steer clear of that for New Leaf, and maybe that's the reason it isn't as fun for me, because I wind up only having stuff to do for about and hour and then have to wait until after 9 AM or so the next day for shops to open to be able to do stuff again. Maybe it's just that I'm older but New Leaf doesn't seem to be as engaging.

It's still fun enough for me that I won't sell it, though. happy.gif

I really like Animal Crossing New Leaf. I'm not able to play on a regular basis so I'm always afraid who has left or what state my town is in when I go back. I'm not one of those people who spends 20 thousand years planning and decorating the town, I don't have a theme or paths or anything like that but that's only because I don't know how and I don't have the patience to do so.

Elvis the lion is my absolute favorite villager but he left my town a long time ago.
