Personally, I love Country music, but I have been raised in small towns since I was born, plus I love in AZ.
But I hate the Banjo and yokel accent stereotype country is given. Some of it is okay.
But that is with any genre. To me, a lot of the artists sound too much alike. But I don't hate the genre. =) -------------------- Love Buster the Cat (: |

I agree, I think it really depends on what you listen too.
I didn't like it to begin with, but ever since I heard of Mumford & Sons a few years ago, which are classed as Counrty/Rock band, I totally love their 'country' sound, and they are now my favourite band!

There's a certain time period of Country that I like, and it's mostly '80s-'90s songs, and some of the early '00s. I don't like the new stuff, and I don't like the really old stuff, either.

The really old twangy voice with the banjo stuff I'm not fond of at all.
