The hunt is now over!
Prizes have been distributed; winners will have received a voucher for a Novelty Pokemon  Also, users who hatched more than 750 eggs and didn't obtain a shiny, for the first time, have also been awarded the same prize as winners. Enjoy, yup yup! It's that time again - though before I tell you what Pokemon will be used in this month's hunt, I wanted to take a minute to talk about the Mysterious Letter from January's hunt. Originally, we'd hoped to have its function revealed by this time, but things have been taking longer than we originally expected - which isn't entirely a bad thing, as the more time we put in to stuff, the better the end product will be. So, I figured I'd fill you in on it as to not keep you entirely in the dark. Once the new site is further along, users with a Mysterious Letter will be able to participate in a public beta of it, as we finalize everything and polish off any issues we overlooked in our own testing, before releasing it. Users will also be able to access an entirely new feature to the site we're working on, to test, before its general availability - and following this, the Mysterious Letter will be put on sale in the Prize Shop (permanently), and it'll be an account upgrade for this new feature. Now, moving on to this month's shiny hunt - rather than having polls like we did for the past two, you'll be able to hunt three Pokemon of Wymsy's choosing, as it's her birth month. You'll be able to choose from Solosis, Bronzor and Grimer. For all information relevant to site-wide shiny hunts, please consult this thread. We've decided to allow for a bit of extra time this month (and will most likely continue to do so moving forward as well), since I'm sure a lot of you are busy with school and what not, so this way there won't be as much of a mad rush to get through your hunt. Sign ups will be open immediately following this post; the hunt will officially start tomorrow night (Friday, March 9th) at reset (11:55 PM server time), and run until the end of the month (Saturday, March 31st) as usual, closing at reset (11:55 PM server time). Once again, be sure and read this thread if you're unsure of anything, or if this is your first time - most if not all questions are answered therein!
