[Aura Dynasty]

Link to the RP

This takes place decades after Link saved Hyrule from the shadows of the twilight world in ‘Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess’. In this peaceful world everybody lives with everybody, all being friendly and good to each other. Some species even tended to like each other and so hybrids came into existence. But soon this peace will be disturbed as a new darkness has risen. A new generation of hero’s and villains will rise as an older generation revives.
Will you be one of them?

Hyrule, 75 years after the event ‘The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess’ took place.

Everyone in Hyrule knows about the legendary deeds of the Chosen Hero Link. He saved Hyrule of the twilight and destroyed Ganendorf together with Midna, the true Twilight Princess. Link has been dead now for 15 years and the next hero was taught the ways of the Chosen. All seemed well until one day a dark mage appeared. He had heard about a way to resurrect Ganendorf and searched the whole land for it, eventually finding and mastering the techniques to revive him. He, together with his followers, went up to the Gerudo dessert and at the top of the prison, where once the twilight mirror resided, and started their rituals. Ganendorf was successfully resurrected and looked at his ‘saviours’. He saw the dark mage had the same darkness in his heart as his minion Zant once had and killed all the others accept for the mage. The mage seemed to be a descendant of Zant, his reincarnation to be exact. Ganendorf decided to use his Chosen powers to conjure a new mirror of Twilight, so he could once again sink Hyrule in the world of Twilight.

Soon the world started to change and the twilight started to spread. However the twilight wasn’t the same as before, for now the Hyrulians kept their physical form even in the twilight realm. Only their appearance now alters their inner self, making some transform in shadow-beasts who only have the urge to kill. The new hero went on to defeat this evil, like Link once did in the past but failed. He was ambushed and killed leaving nobody to defend Hyrule from this threat. So Ganendorf took control of the whole of Hyrule. The only place which is still standing against this threat is the Lyanru province, Zelda’s castle being the last City that hasn’t fallen underneath his tirany.

A light mage even found a way to resurrect Zelda and Link, as this light mage was a descendant of the royal family, one with a pure heart. The resurrected Link and Zelda however did not have any of their former powers as it took to much energy to restore it together with them. She told them what happened and why they were brought back, both to teach a new generation of hero’s. A message was sent throughout the land asking for brave Hyrulians who wanted to heed her call.

In the whole of Hyrule there are some people who are willing to give their life for a free world.
Those who shared the same ideals as Link did then heeded the call and went on their way to Zelda’s castle. Some already lived in Castle town, while others came from the other provinces now know as Twilight provinces.

You are one of those Hyrulians, ready to fight for your country and save it from the darkness.

PS: later on there will be chances to deflect to the ‘dark’ side, but everybody starts as a good guy

Hylian: humans, no special powers though some have an unknown potential for magic. They have great agility and knowledge of weapons and nature.

Gerudo thieves: Looks like this . Inhabitants of the Gerudo province, skilled and graceful warriors.

Gorgon: Great and strong ‘warriors’. They live near the volcano, located in the west of Hyrule. These species have a predilection for wrestling and hot springs. The have the look of a massive boulder .

Zora: Great swimmers can live on both land and water. They have gills and fins which give them the ability to live underwater all the time. These species live in the north of Hyrule, in the Zora domain. They look a bit uh… fishy

Twilli: Beings from the twilight zone, most do not like the fact Ganendorf and Zant have restarted their pans for world domination. Some even decided to go to the ‘world of light’ and aid their inhabitants. Those who went to aid are followers of Midna, the Twilight Queen.

Hybrids: These were ‘created’ when two different species forged together.
- Gorians: Hyrulian and Gorgon parents. They have inhuman strength and are mostly great fighters.
- Zorians: Hyrulian and Zora parents. They inherited the zora-gills, not visible though, and are magnificent swimmers. They are able to hold their breath for half an hour.
- Zorgons: Gorgon and Zora parents. These have great strength and great swimming skills.
- Twylians: Hyrulian and Twilli parents. A most rare species of hybrids. There is not much known about this species but they have control over arcane magic and inherited the knowledge of fighting from the ‘light-creatures’. They look like humans.

is now an expert. They would send her on Nightlock (the family horse) to Castle Town for items they couldn't get locally. She would do this several times a week. She grew up poor, but became rich once she used her bow skills for jobs. She would kill monsters in the areas of Hyrule for money, and she was soon very wealthy by the age of 14. Her mother tragically died one day on a mission with her daughter. A bokiboblin had struck her in the head, and she soon passed away. This droce Sylvia to working harder, and she now wants to protect all of Hyrule from this upcoming threat.

normal appearance: A red haired zorgon, not normal amungst his people. He is relatively tall for his species and takes more after his Zora parent then his gorgon one. His skin is blue and he has gills along with the arm thingy's...you know the ones of the Zora...you know what I mean.
Twilight appearance: A small red fox... yeah thats it what you gonna do about it!
Twilit-sprite: NO NAVI I WILL KILL... sorry about that... anyway... a small grey bat.
weapons: A few daggers which he uses for close range. He carries a sword but has no idea how to use it so he generally throws it.
background: Shadow was the product of a happy marraige and a hatered for Gannon. Shadow's parents were running from the curse put on their villages in OOT(yeah you guys remember that)and met up in an underground shelter when they were about four-years-old. They began to become friends and after about twenty years of knowing each other, they were married. They had five children, Shadow being the last and the only one that took after his mother at all. He began to gain strength by fighting with his older brothers and sisters and often went underwater to hide from them. For some reason they did not like water. This made him began to think about what he wanted to do after he got out of his trecherous home. He decided to be like the hero link, which had saved his parents village long ago. He began talking to goron's more than Zora's and became a well liked Zorgon in the goron village. He was given the giant's knife as a gift, and he throws it still today. His knives were bought for him on his tenth, eleventh, twelth, thirtenth, so on and so on until his sixtenth birthday. Each one represented something special and he will explain every one when he can. He heard the call for hero's and jumped on Light(his horse)and sped off to the princess's castle.

steed: A small but beautiful horse named Light. It is pure white and he rides it with pride after finding it in a meadow they became friends. He became one of the only ones in the goron village with a horse.

Background: Theros is the son of Geros Gorei, a renowned blacksmith goron, and Mari, a Hylian who died giving birth to him and his brother, Doreme. As children, they enjoyed listening to their father's tales. One night, he told them of their grandfather, who fell to the twilight and became one of the creatures Link slew. Soon after telling them, Geros fell to an unknown illness and died 2 months later. 6 months later, Doreme befell the same fate. Theros believed the Twili had cursed their family and vowed to destroy them before his own death.

Personality: A quiet, but proud blacksmith. He prefers to fight alone, mostly because he doesn't want to see people get hurt. He has a bit of a temper issue, but tries very hard to control it. He still holds a grudge against the people of the Twili, and won't hesitate to attack them.

Secret power: Gains far more strength for a short period of time.

gender: Male

species: Twilli

Hero-sign: A golden feline eye.

normal appearance: A slender, quite tall build with pale, grayish skin, and very bright blue, slitted eyes. He wears black clothes, as is custom for Twillis, with bright golden lines, marks and symbols on them - if anyone asks, he can accurately tell the history of each and every symbol and what it means. His clothes are very wide, but with black, almost invisible cords at all the right places to give him maximized agility. Lots of pockets are in these clothes as well, filled with a lot of survival stuff - made-to-last food as well as animal food and water only being a few of these things. Hey, gotta abuse wide clothes somehow. His black cloak also includes a hood that normally covers his head during the day - if it's not on his head, you can see hair in the same midnight black.

Twilight appearance: A panther - his clothes become his fur that is of the same black, but the golden symbols and marks that are on the clothes stay in his fur as well, they're just not as bright as before. His eyes become a golden colour as well. (You know, like an Umbreon, but AWESOME.)

Twilit-sprite: A small, white, female cat about the size of a normal house cat - prissy, sassy and incredibly snarky, but very loyal to him.

weapons: Fingerless gloves made out of black, flexible leather, custom-made for him from the Twilight Realm. They are fitted with four small, very sharp metal blades that glow with bright blue light, on the back of each glove - leaving him with his fingers free to do most anything, however still having an incredibly efficient weapon ready all the time. They can be used for slashing, piercing and even punching. He is also proficient in the magic of the twilight realm, but he mostly uses it to enhance his weapons.

background: Tariel grew up as an only child in a rather wealthy family in the Twilight Realm - an important political family devoted to who they consider the only true princess - Midna, and as such he and his family hate Zant and Ganondorf as well as their newest attempt of taking power. His family has been forced into hiding to avoid the conflict that would occur with defying Ganondorf and he was sent off by them to set things right and banish Ganondorf yet again. The call for brave Hyrulians was just fine to him - he was anything but Hyrulian, but he would heed it nonetheless, if just to help his family and do what he thinks is right, which is denouncing Ganondorf as a false king and saving the light world from the twilight, and then returning to his own world.

personality: I'm feeling lazy as well. D; Tariel is a very calm, serious person - in fact, sometimes it seems like nothing can shake him. He is very devout to Midna (HEY AURA is Midna still alive in this RP? If not, he'll just honour her death, that's fiiine) and hates Ganondorf as well as all of his shadow creatures and every person that follows him with a passion. Other than that, he is a follower of the principle of "Survival of the fittest" - fitting for him, as his calm demeanor hides a predatory instinct that also matches his hero sign and twilight appearance.

secret power: I don't quite know yet... probably becoming some kind of fusion between a Twilli and a large cat, giving him enhanced agility, strength, and everything. As I said, not too sure on that one yet, I might change it.

steed: He's trained in riding, but his family needed their horses more than him, he realised - so he has no steed as of now.

Nickname: Lee

Name: Azmiri Rudo (pronounced as-MEE-ree)

age: 18

gender: Female

species: Gerudo thief

Hero-sign: The Gerudo symbol. But if that isn't acceptable since it's used by the thieves, a maroon heart with a sword through it

normal appearance: Wavy red hair, green eyes, tanned skin from being in the desert sun, normal Gerudo clothes except in maroon, a maroon heart locket, two curved swords sheathed on back.

Twilight appearance: A lynx

Twilit-sprite: A male imp with spiky black hair and blue robes, Noir is rather serious and wise. He's not one to joke and often feels as though guiding Azmiri is a problem.

weapons: Twin curved swords (I'm not sure what they're called. They're the swords the Gerudo thieves had in Ocarina of Time when they would attack Link in the prison cells).

background: Azmiri has spent her whole life in the desert with her tribe, training to become a skilled swordswoman like her sister, who is the leader of the Gerudo thieves. Her sister expects her to oneday take over as the new leader, but Azmiri isn't sure she can do it. She'd rather explore and see the land, which has led her to escape the desert. Her older sister doesn't know it....yet.

personality: Azmiri is a rather fun-loving girl, always giving off a smile. This doesn't make her stupid or naive. Well...only a bit. Considering she was raised in the desert, she isn't aware of certain foods, items, and manners. She's willing to learn, and is always ready to fight for those she cares about.

secret power: The ability to manipulate sand.

steed: A brown horse she 'cleverly' named Sandy.

Blazekid

Nickname: Ri-Ri (he hates being called this)
name: Riko (I'm assuming that Kokiri have no surname)
age: Has the appearance of a thirteen-year old, has actually been on the earth for over thirty years
gender: Male
species: Kokiri
Hero-sign: The Kokiri Symbol
normal appearance: Riko has the appearance of a thirteen year old boy, and he dresses in the traditional Kokiri garb. He is, however, missing the long green hat, and he carries a Deku Shield and the Kokiri Blade on his back. He has long, messy red hair, and bright blue eyes. He also has a Fairy Ocarina, which he uses to play songs. It's lost all of it's magic, however.
Twilight appearance: Riko takes on the appearance of an old Skullkid, straw hat and everything.
Twilit-sprite: It is actually his fairy, Wispa. She is a golden-red colour, and she isn't annoying (thank god). She can be very loud, despite her name.
weapons: Riko has the Kokiri blade, as well as a slingshot he made himself.
background: Riko was born in the Kokiri forest, several years after the defeat of Ganondorf and his sealing away (Ocarina of Time timeline, of course). He always had a penchant for adventure, and as such, he would constantly go into the lost woods and explore. Eventually, he came across a little spot in the woods that took him directly to a very large temple. He ventured inside, and explored for a while until he heard an unearthly clang from the entrance room. He ran back, and ran out the doors to find himself in an odd place. The original forests were gone, and replaced with a much scarier version. As he turned to leave, however, he heard the clang again, and the doors he had run through were now broken, looking as if they hadn't been used for ages. Scared, Riko decided to explore the forests, and as he did so, he came across a skull kid, albeit a vastly different one to the ones he knew. After talking to it, he learned the the Kokiri had all vanished long ago, and that the evil king Ganondorf had taken over yet again. Learning about the 'calling', Riko decided to venture out of the woods that were both familiar and foreign, and find this calling, hoping that someone knew how to send him back.

secret power: Riko can use his Ocarina to it's full potential, able to cast spells and warp using special songs that he learns.
steed: A small pony that Riko, erm, 'Borrowed'. She doesn't have a name, and as such, is simply referred to as 'pony'.

Ok... so I never actually completed twilight princess... I kind of started it... realized it was for Wii and all that came with it... and I rage quit hardcore... BUT...I get the story and I have played every other zelda game so I know link and Zelda pretty well... well every Zelda game exept for skyward sword and TP... BUT AGAIN... I wanna join anyway XD

To be honest, I got the game the year it came out, and didn't beat it until... A year ago. I know, right?

Since Gc wa the original and everything was flipped for the wii cause Link's left handed, I'd say Gc. Other than the map flip and the controls, there's no difference. Still, good to know your barings.
