Pokerus Plague

• Please be respectful of EVERYONE and follow all forum rules.
• Be sure to post if your pokemon is infected (link please) and when your pokemon is cured.
• It is in spirit of the group that if you are on the currently infected list that you return clicks, but it's not required.
• Please, no complaining if your clicks aren't returned from clicking the currently infected list.

Good to see the new group thread going.
The 2 pokemon I reported in the old thread as infected, are now cured (well, one cured after 3 days, one received antidote).

Hey, I thought I'll ask it here... Is it just me, or pokerus is harder to get ? Since the Relicanth hunt, I didn't get it at all while clicking the infected list, and I do it almost every day. The pokérus I have is from the underground. I did no transmission for the second time. And the number of infected is at 76, and before, it was a lot higher.
Well I'm not the only one to have this impression, so... :/ Is it just bad luck or was it modified ?
I know it was very easy to get it on the mobile site a while back, but I can't access the mobile site... Seems that it got harder to have it after that.
I don't know :/

First Pokerus'ed pokemon was Female Emoga I found in the sheltar, It reached Lvl 100 after 2 days. (Because of an epic surprise with the two bonus days.)

Hiralle@ I don't know either. I usually wait till' someone clicks my party or I just get bored and click the online's list.

Yes... But there were always, or almost always, at least 150 users with it... And now it's less than 100. It's really strange.

Oh and my Cresselia is cured. No transmissions of course, like last time I had pokerus.

I agree with you about getting pokerus, I notice it only for the infected list because I've had only eggs in my party since relicanth hunt, at that moment there were like 300+ users infectd, I guess now is harder because now we have an infected list...

You join by signing up. The sign up sheet is on the first page. But you mast have had at least one poke with pokerus before you can join.

Not enough members or not enough pokerus infections?

It could be a mix of both. I think the virus is hard to get and maybe some people who joined the first group forgot they did.

It has been quite some time since I had an infection to report, but just now, my Deino got infected with pokerus in the Underground (too bad I'll have to cure it to complete task 1 of Ripple in Time, so I will just leave it in my party until I have leveled up all those pokemon):

I often click the users who have Pokérus infected Pokémon, but rarely catch the virus itself. :< My Pokémon seem to be healthy and strong. XD

Pokerus Information

What is pokerus?
Pokerus is a special status that only hatched pokemon in your party can obtain once

What does it do?
A pokemon inflicted with pokerus will have increased maturity gains
The side effect is that it cannot be switched out of your party.

How is it obtained?
*Pokerus is mainly obtained by transmission via clicking an infected pokemon
*A pokemon returning from the underground may be infected
*A pokemon adopted from the safari zone may be infected

How do I cure my pokemon from it?
The virus will last at least 3 days and will soon after go away on it's own.
You can also cure it at any given time by purchasing an Antidote from the shop.

How do I transmit pokerus to other pokemon?
When another trainer interacts with your pokemon, there is a chance that the virus will spread to a hatched pokemon in their party
If you want to spread the virus, be sure to go out and click other players so they will click your infected pokemon!

Can my infected pokemon spread the virus to other pokemon in my own party?
No. Your infected pokemon can only infect other trainers' pokemon.

Both my pokemon cured, Rotom after 3 days, and I gave Mesprit an antidote; 6th party spot is more useful with the multipliers and SWSH. Unfortunately, no new transmissions.
