Sign up here if you're interested. The tournament will begin TWO Fridays from now, meaning Friday March 7th (yes, I realise that this is two days before Brawl, but oh well). This should give you enough time to prepare your team, and so on. The rules are as follows:
- All battles must be done on DP's Wi-Fi, in level 100 single battles - Winners will be determined by the best of three battles - that is, you and your opponent will battle, and the first to win twice (not necessarily in a row) will be the winner. The one exception will be the finals, which will be out of five battles (the champion must win three times). Note that you may change pokemon between battles, just don't forget to make sure that you don't have too many of one item and stuff like that. - Sleep clause - you may not put more than one of your opponent's pokémon to sleep - Partial item clause - you may only use up to two of each item - Evasion clause - no evasion raising or accuracy lowering attacks may be used (Double Team, Minimize, Sand Attack, Flash, etc.) - Species clause - you may only use one of each species (though more than one of a family is fair game - using Flareon and Leafeon or Bidoof and Bibarel is fine, for example) - Each match will have five days to be completed. This means that the first set will run from March 7th to 11th, the quarter finals from the 12th to the 16th, the semi finals from the 17th to the 21st, and the finals from the 22nd to the 26th. If you do not finish your match on time, I will determine the winner using a random number, coin toss, or something to that effect. - No pokémon on the following list may be used: Mewtwo Mew Ho-oh Lugia Kyogre Groudon Deoxys (All forms) Rayquaza Wobbufet Wynaut Latias (with or without Soul Dew) Latios (with or without Soul Dew) Dialga Palkia Giratina Arceus Darkrai Failure to follow the rules will cause you to automatically lose your battle. The champion of the tournament will be rewarded with a legit Japanese Movie Deoxys. Post here if you wish to sign up.
