Lizzie looked at the Gengar, trying to see if it was safe to leave. Malcolm's Pichu had evolved, and managed to drive the Gengar away with one last Thundershock. With all the ghosts gone, it was now safe to leave.
There was a strangely attractive room at the bottom of the stairs. Lizzie hoped that there would be no more trouble as she watched Malcolm enter. It turned out that the room was some sort of transport room. There was a list of available locations to travel too, after all. Riolu had woken up by now, and escaped from its pokeball. It looked around curiously and unsuspectingly stepped onto a panel at the same moment Malcolm had finished adjusting the settings. It glowed for a moment, then disappeared. "Riolu!" Lizzie yelled, and ran onto the panel after it. She saw white, then felt a feeling of moving through space. -------------------- I'm trying to evolve/hatch: (Views are fine.)

Daniel was only too happy to leave the creepy ghost room behind and by the time they reached the teleportation panels, the rookie trainer was grinning from ear to ear. They'd escaped pretty much unscathed. Sure he was still feeling drained from the nightshade attack, but Pichu had evolved, and Daniel figured that amounted to more positive than negative.
He was impressed with how quickly and easily Malcolm programmed the teleportation pads. Personally, he had no idea how to operate such a level of technology. "Nice job," Daniel said, observing the computer screen from over Malcolm's shoulder. Suddenly, the girl's Riolu ran off and onto the teleportation pad before disappearing in a flash of light. The girl herself followed shortly after. "So then, I guess I'll see you on the other side. Thanks to you," he said the last part to Pikachu with a wink, "for keeping all those spirits off of us back there. We really don't dig ghosts. So you sorta saved us." "Machop!" Hercules agreed. Beneath his hoodie, Geb shuddered in a way that Daniel translated into assent. "C'mon Herc," Daniel called and he and his pokemon stood on one of the teleportation pads. A moment later, they too were whisked away in a flash of light. -------------------- |
