Do you prefer the Pokemon Ranger or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games?
Personally, I prefer PMD by a long way. Ranger is original, but it's too short, unlike PMD which is arguably longer than the main games if you take your time. Ranger's also very repetative. To be fair they both are, but PMD is in a addictive way, but Ranger's repetative in a annyoying and boring way. Also, PMD is very funny. In the first games your partner was hilarious, and in the sequels Wigglutuff is just genious. This humour, mixed with an empotive storyline really gets you involved and caring about the characters. Ranger just doesn't have that charm, partly becuase the characters aren't as well developed and partly becuase the story doesn't have as much depth. i think PMD is cooler as it just has a better concept i think, rangers seems like it would be uber repetitive, i would vote PMD

PMD because it's easier than Pokemon Ranger. Yeah, Ranger was hard. Not in a challenging way but in an annyoying way. I got so fustrated with that Steelix, and then there was the Charizard. Urg -------------------- |

PMD is much,MUCH better than Pokemon Ranger.
Because the storyline and the game itself is better. Pokemon Ranger was just too easy and short... -------------------- |

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
In Ranger you don't get to keep the Pokemon. You go through a whole lot of trouble catching a hard-to-catch pokemon and don't even get to keep it for long. -------------------- |

PMD by far. I hate Pokemon Ranger. It's boring and has waaaaaay too much Fake Difficulty. "Your stylus takes damage if you get poked! btw all of the good mons have full-screen attacks." Yeah. Thanks, Nintendo.
PMD has an engaging storyline and, while it can be extremely hard, it's just having a fit of Nintendo Hard, and not even a particularly severe fit. Overall, it's one of the best spinoff Pokemon games. -------------------- |

My vote has gone for PMD as I find them more enjoyable and they have a better plot(+Wigglytuff=Win)
It is also the only pokemon game I have found quite challenging -------------------- Grass Pokemon (click to show ) |

Is this is even debatable? Pokémon Mystery Dungeon has better game play, a good story, an amazing soundtrack, and the added bonus of keeping your touch screen in tact.

I have to agree with everyone here, PMD, no contest. While PMD also has a better story line, it also has a deeper storyline. And there's more to do even after you beat the game, a whole lot more than Ranger. And it can actually be fun to restart a save on PMD, as you have a wider range of characters than Ranger.
Hats off to Wigglytuff. -------------------- |

I'll choose PMD. I bought Blue Rescue Team first and it was pretty good. And I got addicted to it. Then a sequel came. And you know what happens next.
PMD is the best. -------------------- |

PMD because it was really fun. It was kinda annoying how some dungeon floors are really long and it takes forever to get to the next floor... I usually got hungry by then (and had no food, and apparently died).
Ranger on the other hand, was okay, but it destroyed my DS touch screen. -------------------- |

Definatly PMD! I loved being a pokemon, and Ranger was pretty bad...You could only have 1 partner pokemon that could stay with you, and you didn't even get to pick who it was! Yeah, Ranger pretty much messed up my touch screen....and it was easy to beat and complete.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
It was very different from the orginal gameplay of catching Pokemon and battling them, which was pure Awsome in my book, while Ranger does suck a bit, I think it is still slightly good. -------------------- I obtained Sasuke Uchiha and Rock Lee eggs! PMD, by a long shot. I like Ranger and haven't played the sequal, though I might if I can find a good deal on it, but it was far too short. The concept was nice and original, but the lack of any real substance to the plot and the repetitiveness killed it for me. It could have been done way better, had they put some real effort into the story and mechanics instead of just something new.
PMD, on the other hand was pure genius. Both stories brought me to tears at the end, and the characters were hard not to like. It was a big break from the whole 'fight against this evil team' and there was a lot of really nice character and plot development that even the main games don't have. The dungeons were different every time you went in so it was never the same as the time before. I'm definitely looking forward to the next game in the series. -------------------- |
