Everyone has a powerhouse or super powerful pokemon on their team.
Who's your macho pokemon on you HGSS, Platinum, Diamond and Pearl game? You can give all or you can just pick one. My two powerhouses on my HG would have to be Princess[A Nidoqueen] and WongMunchy[A Snorlax]. Both are pretty sturdy in battles and have awesome move sets. C: My powerhouse on my Platinum would have to be my Staraptor, Wind. And my Togekiss, Tobi. Both are really strong and have some good moves. Lets see, since i only play Silver and Platinum as my main games:
Platinum: Torterra and Garchomp (I know it sucks, they're screwed against ice) SoulSilver: Shiny Charizard and Ferligatr (If not then Crystal, my shiny Gardevoir, who whooped Lance by herself) -------------------- |

My Torterra in my Platinum game is strong as well. Twiggy[his name X3] is one of my favotire pokemon to use at the Battle Frontier. And looking at your SoulSilver team and my HeartGold team, they're slightly the same. We both have Ferligatrs and one of the Nidos. -------------------- |

For the most part, Feraligatr (my starter), but if I'm rematching, say, Blue, I bring out an appropriately-Plated Arceus.

I guess my Dragonite, Firenze (she's a girl btw) and my Gengar, Gaspar are my main powerhouses. Firenze is mostly raw damage dealer, but Gaspar is based on the dream eater attack, fused with nightmare, and destiny bond is everything else fails.
But I think I need to lvl up Gaspar, for some reason he can't catch up with the others. |

My Arbok followed by my Shiny Persian.
Both on SS since I've pretty much abandoned Diamond. -------------------- |

My Tyranitar so far seems the strongest, even though it's the lowest level of my currently trained planned team! (other than the ones I haven't gotten to, yet)

Well...
for Special Sweepers, it'd have to be Ninetales He can last like ages. Considering he beat all of the Gyms in Johto and most of them in Kanto Sunny Day, Solarbeam, Flamethrower and Confuse Ray, with the ability Flash Fire Also, Gengar, because of it's speed and putting opponents to sleep hehe Then drain their HP with that Dream Eater move (i think it's called that) Physical Sweepers, pretty much Ampharos and Feraligat'r. Feraligat'r beat Lance and his 4 Dragonites Yay for Ice fang This post has been edited by Samoo: May 28 2010, 08:23 AM -------------------- Don't forget to love yourself. Metagross, Salamence, Garchomp, and Tyranitar are obvious choices.
-Starmie -I've always had a soft spot for Empoleon because it has 11 resistances (two of them are 4x) and an immunity. It's also unaffected by Sandstorm, immune to Toxic, and resists Stealth Rock. -Magmortar -Electivire -Porygon-Z -Snorlax -------------------- |

In Platinum, my Slaking. Send him out first, and switch out after every turn. If he kills everything in one hit (which he does), his ability isn't a detriment.
In HeartGold, my Kingdra. Rain Dance at the beginning of a fight, and she can slice through at least 5 consecutive Garchomps with Ice Beam. |

My Swampert. The only thing it can't beat is Grass. I've been meaning to replace Blizzard with Ice Beam, but GOD DAMN you think I can find that TM? xD I know it's in Seafoam... somewhere.
Next would probably be my shiny Dusknoir, despite her abysmal speed. -------------------- |

I like Feraligatr, or Empoleon.

On HeartGold it's Aggron, and on Platinum it's Rampardos.

INU RYU (Gallade) is my powerhouse. I can equip him with any item and the battle style changes to my advantage (versatility). However, When it comes to just beating the snot out of things, he is NO slouch. Almost every Pokemon he faces is OHKO'd. However, INU RYU's speed is it's only letdown, but that can be solved with either a Baton Pass or a Choice Scarf.
Also, INU's moveset has complete coverage. Psycho Cut Close Combat X-Scissor Stone Edge (might replace with Thunderpunch) This post has been edited by Blighted Omerta: May 31 2010, 01:38 PM -------------------- Credits! My EV trained Electivire is my main Battle Bro. I use it a lot for the majority of the Battle Frontier facilities, as well as online battles. Good movepool, good stats, and it's probably become one of my favourite Pokemon, although the Platinum sprite was a little disappointing. My Garchomp is also a beast, but I don't use it on Wi-Fi battling anymore since it's been bumped up to Uber. Plus it's sort of a glass cannon with that 4x Ice weakness.
