This is an interest check. I'm not sure if this RP'll actually happen due to some technical difficulties, just checking if anyone likes the idea.

"New type of representations called continents have appeared. They are somewhat more powerful than countries, but extremely unstable and often loners. They are ancient powers, much older than any of the countries, and scarred and hardened from millenia of clashes."

A new player has entered the game- the countries will be forced to redefine themselves in a way much larger than national borders.
Though numbering only 7, each of the continents hold the power of between three to even a hundred countries combined. The world will once again go to war- And if the Continental Powers win, nothing will ever be the same again.

I haven't completely figured it out yet, but basically it's continents vs. countries. Players will be limited to playing the Axis or Allied powers just to keep things simpler since they're basically the main characters of the actual show. Other characters may be used as NPCs. Romance of any sort (but then again, all allowed countries are male...o.o;) will be allowed so long as it doesn't surpass the PG-15 rating.

What the continents want is something I still need to think about (suggestions welcomed with virtual cookies), but I'm thinking that they want to set things back to the way they were before national borders formed- effectively destroying the countries in the process.

What the countries want, on the other hand, should be fairly obvious.

Continents are completely seperate from the countries, meaning if you play a continent it can basically be your OC.

No more than four characters per person, though personally I like to keep the limit at two (but there's a lot of characters necessary in this RP).

If not all the countries are being actively played, they will be used as NPCs.

NO state/capital/district OCs will be allowed (e.g. the state of Alaska).

When I said ancient earlier, I didn't mean that the continent's human forms are ancient as well. They age like the countries do, but much, much slower.

So, that's pretty much it. Any plot ideas? Likes? Suggestions? Better title ideas?

But about the Rp... romance is allowed but I'm not seeing the countries defeat the Continents with love alone

How exactly are they going to fight the continents; what will they be using to do so... (weapons, books, pebbles... knowledge...)

I don't know, except this is going to a mighty Rp when we're done xp

The only reason I said only main countries is to keep things simple, as there are way way too many countries in the world, and half of 'em never interact even in the show. Might change that, because countries like Canada (good point) are main characters as well...

As for how they fight the continents, well.....

Just kidding. But seriously, I don't know. Maybe it'll be something like the continents will be able to do things with the earth and have special powers and stuff, and the countries fight back either their respective militias and if and when those are depleted, they go into battle themselves. People can make up things about the country they play, I guess- like for instance America having a "monster" inside of him due to how his normal personality is so cheesy but he DID chase out Germany.

(Cookies if you know what that idea was from, by the way.)

Maybe the continents are threatening to envelope ALL the countries (Not like that, Francey-pants) and integrate them into nothing.

North Merica
South Merica
Africa
Antarctica (Dibs?)
Europe
Asia
Australia


But wait Australia actually has a counterpart! Maybe we can just ignore him?
Also, Europe and Asia are often squished together as Eurasia. Maybe this can be backstory.

Gorgon, that's what I was thinking too. And if you want to write up a backstory explaining Eurasia, be my guest. XD I'll add it to the first post.

But Australia is a problem, huh...maybe there's two of them? Or a split personality, you know, something like that.

Aura: Eurasia vs. the Americas? Sounds...dangerous. But I don't see the countries infighting as much when they're all in grave danger of being destroyed.

Well fellows, I seem to have hit a snag: Who's using Europe and Asia? Are they NPCs? I'm sort of lost here, but I have a plot cut out.
(It'd be great if this were a fanfic I was writing, though...)
