I'm missing five adamant Rattata's from my PC. I didn't abandon them. I haven't been very active lately, so I have no clue when they went missing... I was so excited when I hatched my sixth adamant Rattata, 'cause I've been hunting it for a while for the achievement, so you can understand how frustrated I am that they're suddenly gone. Is there anyway of getting them back? Nothing else is missing that I've noticed.

This seems to be happening to quite a few people recently.
First, double-check your pc, walker, underground, daycare, etc. Then quickly change your password. Because if they're gone, you've either accidentally released them or have been hacked. -------------------- |

Actually, unless I'm just blind, you can just check your released pokemon first~ http://gpxplus.net/user/ladeda#released EDIT: D'oh xD This post has been edited by Kristastic: Aug 20 2010, 09:21 AM |

Only pokemon that are adopted will show up on the released page. As there is no way to tell the natures of pokemon in the safari zone, it's highly possible for adamant rattatas to go in there without being adopted. Or they can always be purged as there will be a high number of rats in the safari.

Whether or not you had been hacked, or accidentally released them, they would still need to show up on the released pokemon page either way, and they aren't, which means they couldn't have been released by you or anyone else. o_________O Unless I'm misunderstanding something here. Just one thing - they will only show up in your released pokemon page IF they have been adopted. So it's hard to say if you've accidentally released them or you've been hacked. I just checked your released pokemon page and you have released 13 rattata and only 7 have been adopted, could be you accidentally released them. You do have to remember, though... they're Rattata. If it's been more than 3 days and no one adopted the rats (which is not uncommon for rats) then they would be deleted completely. Would not show up on the released tab.

There's one Adamant Rattata sitting in your "goal" box... judging by the fact that you've released several batches of Rattata in the past few days, I'd wager you accidentally released the others, yup yup.

Except, I didn't, the five 'adamant' Rattata were all in my 'goal' box and I didn't touch it when I released the others, I remember clearly scrolling down and seeing the goal box name and not clicking it. I released about 60+ pokes and nothing from the goal box. Edit: and to others saying I was hacked... um, lol, I don't think the only thing they'd release was a couple Rattata's. So, I have a hard time believing it was a hack. -------------------- |

There are only two possibilities. You got hacked or you accidentally did it yourself. I'm pretty sure the site wouldn't go through some sort of glitch that made only one person lose 5 Rattata randomly.

There are only two possibilities. You got hacked or you accidentally did it yourself. I'm pretty sure the site wouldn't go through some sort of glitch that made only one person lose 5 Rattata randomly. I didn't accidentally release them, I would have noticed clicking on those five pokes. Either that or the box heading would have to have been clicked, and then the whole 'goal' box would have been empty, but it wasn't. Anyway, at this point, I honestly don't care anymore, I'm just starting the hunt all over. I do however think you guys should at least look into the glitch. And yes, I said glitch, because a hack doesn't make any sense, for pretty much the same reason you think a glitch wouldn't. Anyway, nothing is getting solved here, and like I said I'm just gonna start over, so someone can go ahead and close this thread. -------------------- |

If the remaining poke had been there for less than 12 hours, it would stay there while all the other go, when you click on the box header. So the mistake is still very possible. ^^'

There is no glitch possible that would allow your pokes to be automatically abandoned, especially such a select few.
You either made a stupid mistake, or got hacked. If you got hacked, God knows why theyd only release the Ratata, but it could still happen. -------------------- |
