Pretty much everyone has seen a time on a show where a episode conflicts with the history of another episode? I've seen this so many times, in Spongebob, Zach and Cody, etc. So it makes me wonder has this happened in the Pokemon series? If you have any memory of this happening, post it here! Please post the name of both conflicting episodes, and what conflicts with what.

No character has aged, that's the biggest conflict.

Here's an episode conflict:
In The eggsecutor Squad and Attack of the Prehistoric Pokemon, Ash's Charmander evolved into a Charmeleon and then a Charizard respectively. However, in Snow Way Out, Ash has a Charmander, even though the episode airs after Attack of the Prehistoric Pokemon. He should have a Charizard. Furthermore, much later in the series, Dawn's Mamoswine refuses to obey her, and Ash doesn't mention having had a disobedient Pokemon at all, despite that he had the same problem with Charizard. -------------------- |

In pokemon movie 2000, ash's pikachu use thunderbolt, an electric type move on a golem in the intro and knock it out. It's a ground type and is 1HITKO. all the other seasons, when it use thunderbolt, it did not work on ground types . Nintendo logic. Same rthing with the giratine movie when in again in the intro, pikachu use thunderbolt on a electricvire, with abilaty, motor drive which makes electric moves usless and in the battle between paul in the sinnoh leagh championships, brick says the same thing about motor drive, even though he witness pikachu zapping that golem and not noticing. Opps I just relize that it's timeline conflictions, oh well Bad spelling, sorry

I noticed the charizard back to charmander in the jynx episode and also when the team goes back to viridian city in the first season Ash says that he can't believe it's been a year since they've been there. No one has aged or anything.

Their Eternal Youth should be distilled, bottled and sold.
Here's an episode conflict: In The eggsecutor Squad and Attack of the Prehistoric Pokemon, Ash's Charmander evolved into a Charmeleon and then a Charizard respectively. However, in Snow Way Out, Ash has a Charmander, even though the episode airs after Attack of the Prehistoric Pokemon. He should have a Charizard. This isn't a mistake. Charmander evolved to Charmeleon in "The Exeggutor Squad", EP043. "Snow Way Out" is actually EP040, and so the timeline and Ash's having a Charmander then is perfectly fine. What happened is that the original Japanese release of "Snow Way Out" was rescheduled due to the problems caused by EP038, the infamous Porygon episode. When "Snow Way Out" finally aired in Japan, it was placed in between EP064 and EP065 (Japanese). The US release put "Snow Way Out!" between EP081 (end of Indigo League) and EP082 (first episode of Orange Islands), as a season extra sort of thing, and maybe to coincide with winter in December. For reference: EP040: Snow Way Out! First broadcast Japan: October 5, 1998 United States: December 18, 1999 EP043: March of the Exeggutor Squad - Charmander evolves to Charmeleon First broadcast Japan: May 7, 1998 United States: October 30, 1998 EP046: Attack of the Prehistoric Pokemon - Charmeleon evolves to Charizard First broadcast Japan: May 28, 1998 United States: February 27, 1999 edit: derp, it's been a while since the last post, but this is relatively meaningful! Here's a major conflict. Ash is still 10. AND in the first Pichu Bros short, Ash celebrated being on his journey for ONE WHOLE YEAR. Actually no, he said it was an anniversary. Didn't mention how many years. However, near the end of season 1, when they came back to Pallet to train, Misty said that its had been a year since they were there last time. -------------------- |
