Appearance: Willis stands at a healthy 6ft making him the tallest in his family, while weighing in at an even 10 stone. With medium length brown hair and blue-green eyes, Willis' most notable feature is a inch long scar in the centre of his left eyebrow. Wearing a brown long-sleeve t-shirt, blue jeans and hiking trainers, Willis looks like any guy who spent his life sailing, strongly built, with a head full of experience and his blood filled with salt water, like his father before him.

Personality: Willis is a hard-working person with a friendly personality, making him easy to interact with and like. However, Willis tends to see the world in black and white, which usually sees him standing up against something that is not right and loyal to his friends to the end. Having half his life helping his families fishing bussiness, Willis knows the value of teamwork and knowledge in any situation.

Biography: Born in Barley as the fifth grandchild of the owner of a small fishing fleet , Willis grew up learning to swim the same time he learnt to walk. While his father, uncles and cousin James helped to run the fleet, Willis was raised by his mother, aunts and grandparents with his cousins and sister. His grandfather would often tell him stories of the world outside their island community and show him the life beneath the ocean from pictures taken during his sailing days.

At the age of 10, Willis joined his father on one fishing voyage and learnt the ropes of sailing and fishing using pokemon. During that Voyage a heavy storm came from the north causing one of the nets weights to knock him overboard. Thankfully, a young Tyrogue who was also learning his role in the fleet saw what happened and managed to pull the net in, resulting in a strong friendship between the pair.

Over the ten years, Willis would continue his studies while also helping to bring in the fishing harvest each summer. On his tenth summer fishing, Willis and Tyrogue encountered a family of Mudkip being attacked by a skarmory in a small cove. Both Willis and Tyrogue leapt into the fray but were gravelly outmatched by the flying pokemon until the timely arival of his grandfather and his Charmeleon. It was at that point that Willis knew that he wanted to see the world like his grandfather had done and decided to enter the Pokemon Challenge.

A week later on his 20th birthday, Willis packed his bag with 6 pokeballs, 2 potions and his grandfather's pokeflute, he prepared to leave. Just as he was about to walk out of the door, Willis was intercepted by his old friend Tyrogue, who indicated that he wished to join him on his adventure, which Willis readily accepted. As they both walked down the beach into the great unknown they came across one of the Mudkip which expressed an interest in joining Willis and Tyrogue on their journey.

Now a trio, Willis is wondering what the world outside of Barley has instore for him, only time will tell...
