Well, when I went to bed I was eight votes short of the final, but alas, good things can't last forever! I was honoured to have made it as far as I did, considering I haven't sprited for quite some time and I threw up my egg in photoshop without so much as a theme. All I knew was I wanted it to be on fire, then I pixelled in the mountains afterwards.

Oh General Ironwood, your egg is lovely! I'm honestly surprised it didn't make it to the final.
 This is the egg I made, I based it on Norwegian rosemaling, which is kind of my favorite thing ever... Maybe I would've gotten farther by making something more recognizable  I also wish I'd done more with the shading and such, but oh well. Making it to round three is still an ego boost for me ^^ |

The contest is now over! Prizes will be handled later this week when I have more time, but for now...

Congratulations to all of those who tried their creative hands and went from one round to the next! Those were incredible designs and you should all be proud of what you had done!
Kudos to all of those in the Top 3! I am happy to say that I had supported ALL of those designs at one time or another (obviously, sometimes, more than once LOL). I've said it before and I'll say it again. GPX+ has awesome membership whose talent is incredible! And for those that didn't advance past the first round - I hope you know that you still did something worth bragging about. Some of us (cough *me* cough) didn't even try, but you all did. That's awesome!! I hope you pat yourselves on the back for your efforts and continue to work on them for the next time (as, I'm sure, there will be a next time).
