I have two issues:
1. My Pidgey that I got today disappeared. I know I put it in my box, I can even filter in the PC for Pidgey, but it's not there. Checking the option to hide the boxes that does not contains the pokémon makes all the boxes disappears. 2. I have a Bonsly level 100, but it does not count for the exploration. Anyone has any pointer to verify if I might have misclicked something that made my Pidgey disappear, or why my Bonsly is not counted? I started the exploration back in 2020 so I hope I did get these pokémon after, otherwise I would be a time traveller without knowing it. Edit: My Released Pokémon list is empty: https://i.imgur.com/184IF2e.png This post has been edited by medoli900: Sep 20 2024, 05:42 PM |

1. Have you checked all the other storage areas (Daycare, Battle Tower, Vs. Seeker, Underground, Poke Walker, Mobile Walker)? If it's not in any of those places, then you probably did release it -- it won't show up in your "released Pokemon" tab until someone else adopts it.
2. A Pokemon can only qualify for an exploration task if you obtained it after you began the exploration. (In theory this is supposed to require you to have obtained it after you started the task, but I thiiiiiink most if not all the time, it actually checks when you began the exploration as a whole.) Are you sure you adopted the Bonsly recently and not back in 2020 before you embarked? This post has been edited by pumpkinking0192: Sep 20 2024, 09:40 PM -------------------- |

Guess I'll check the Released Pokémon tab once in a while, but I'm pretty sure I didn't release it. Edit: I just checked the options for a Pokémon I don't really want to test out the release pokémon feature, and... I can't even find how to do that haha Edit 2: Checked the Help section and found out how to release a pokémon. I can definitely say that I did not release it, as there's a lot of step involved and I think I would have known if I used that feature. Edit 3: I just realized that you can't even release a Pokémon the same day it was hatched, so it definitely was not released. I guess I'll make a ticket over to the bug thread for that. 2. Yes, Bonsly was added to my Pokedex today, like Pidgey: https://i.imgur.com/syL6pMM.png I hunted for both at the lab today while shiny hunting H. Voltorb. ...............Forgive me for asking a very stupid question, but based on your phrasing in the other topic you started about this...
Did you put the Bonsly in your party? Explorations will only check your party for Pokemon, they won't check your PC. From your other topic it kind of sounds like you might have been expecting Bonsly and Pidgey in your PC to count for the exploration. -------------------- |

I knew there was something I wasn't doing quite right for Bonsly, I just didn't know what. At least that's half the issue solved, thanks. |
