Voltorb Flip. It's the new game that has replaced the slot machines in the Game Corner from all the previous games. What do you think of it?

It's not that I hate it, the game gets you thinking unlike the slots. It's just I don't like how it's the only way of getting coins. At least in EU Platinum you could convert money into coins

Looks like the developers made it even harder to get Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, and Icebeam by replacing the Slot machine with Voltorb Flip.

I really appreciate Pokemon being so "kid friendly" but seriously? Adding this rather little insignificant game into the game corner to replace the old slot machines that we cherished? Seriously Game Freak? I try to enjoy it, and every time I even enter into the building, I feel like Game Freak went the easy way out and decided to not to code for the game corner, and decided to add this small mini-game. The Japanese version of Heart Gold and Soul Silver had the slot machines, why couldn't they just wait another generation before changing the whole structure? Even thought I right now an hating Game Freak for this, I'll eventually somehow get over the fact that Game Freak is seriously messing with the game corner a bit too much.

Voltorb Flip is superior to the slot machines in every way possible
 . I almost abandoned the gym challenge simply to become the best Voltorb Flip player around. I never liked the slot machines, so this is a welcome change.

It's an interesting change from the generic slot machines; but still, I'd prefer the good ol' slots over Voltorb Flip.

It took me a while and a lot of frustration to figure out a strategy that worked, but now that I have, I love it. The slot machines I could never get the hang of, whereas Voltorb Flip... well, I may not be making a lot of coins, but I can count on a pretty decent amount any time I play. And it's pretty addictive, for me.

At first I didn't like it, but I'm starting to accept it. I like that they have a strategy game instead of slots now (the slots made me fall asleep too much because it required zilch thinking), but I was a little disappointed with their game choice and thought that there should also be another way to get coins.

Hehehe, actually everygame outside of japan has the voltorb flip game. Japan still has the slots, you can buy coins, and all of that jazz. I imported it(twice) so I know the difference.

*Twitch, Twitch* They left the slots in the Japanese version and then left us Americans to rot with the thriced damned version of picross that makes me wish to slam it across the floor!?
Do I need to mention that I hate, hate, hate Voltorb Flip? Oh, I get that it's a thinking game, that part is okay. It's the fact that I now have to wait forever to get a new Eevee and TMs.*headdesk* --------------------   |

It's okay... I loved the slots though, so I'm sad that they were replaced. I just wish that there were more tables or something so it didn't feel so... lonely.

I'm horribly addicted to it. I refuse to even go to Goldenrod now, because I don't want to spend another three days doing nothing but playing Voltorb Flip. I am a little dissapointed we can't turn our money into coins, though.

Its fine, but I dislike it being the only source of coins. It would've been better if they had kept the slots to give more variety. Also, I am another upset by the lack of money to coin conversion.

I wouldn't say I love it, but it is fairly fun. I'm glad that it replaced the slot machines, as I never played those. I've beaten level 7 once, and I can imagine that it would be easy to get the prizes if I was better. But from my experience it's pretty hard to get the TMs =/
