Hello, everyone!

This month's theme for the Coin Event is based on Pride Month suggested by Jade and Rookie Roo!
The event will run from the 11th until the 26th of June at reset. (June 10th 11:55pm ET -> June 26th 11:55pm ET)

flareon.gif If you had any leftover Coins from the last event in April, your total will be reset to 0 when the event begins.

jolteon.gif The Event Shop will remain open throughout the month of July.

vaporeon.gif When the event begins at the designated time, the following rainbow-colored themed Pokémon will hatch with a Coin:
Red:
• Darumaka
• Sizzlipede
• Throh

Orange:
• Dedenne
• Slugma
• Solrock

Yellow:
• Helioptile
• Joltik
• Sunkern

Green:
• Budew
• Chikorita
• Solosis

Blue:
• Clauncher

Indigo:

Bonus:
• Eevee

• Scatterbug

If you've saved enough Coins, you'll be able to exchange them for some lovely prizes in the Event Shop!
Prizes range from 10 Coins to a top prize of 600 Coins (plus up to 10 Repel at 1 Coin to help you use up any remaining balance before the shop closes at the end of July).

We hope you'll have lots of fun with this event!

Had a feeling the Coin Event would be announced soon! Love the theme, way more unique than a generic "Summer" event. Can't wait!

As a part of the queer community, I really like this idea! But only three Hoenn Pokemon...

Good luck everyone!

How do I get to the coin shop?

It's not open yet; it should become accessible once the event starts at reset tonight (it'll become a separate tab in the shop section) and will remain open for a month or so after the coin event ends.

I can't remember if I used all my coins from last time or not.

It's too late to worry about whether you did or not. Once the coin shop closes a month after the end of an event, your coins are wiped to zero in preparation for the next event.

I don't think thats true based on what Jen wrote.
"If you had any leftover Coins from the last event in April, your total will be reset to 0 when the event begins."

While it does sound like the coins are zeroed out at the start of the next event, the shop closing a month after the end of the previous event pretty much makes them unusable past that point since you have to be able to access the shop to use the coins.

The script always runs before the next event shop opens, so the exact timing doesn't matter. Sorry if my phrasing was inexact, I wasn't trying to imply the coins are wiped to zero right when the previous coin shop closes, but rather than they are wiped between coin shops and thus that it's pointless to worry about any balance you still have left between coin shops, since it will always be wiped before you can use it.

Hello everyone. What is this "bonus" when the last section of eggs mentioned hatch? I've been going after some shiny Eevees (got one after 31 eggs yesterday, woohoo), but noticed that the number of eggs I've hatched do not match up with the number of coins I have received (31 eggs, 37 coins).

Are these bonus eggs just a chance of getting additional coins? If not, why would I have an off number of coins? Greatly appreciate the help, thanks!

"Bonus" just means the Pokemon don't map to a particular color but are still included in the theme because they have lots of different colors. There's no separate mechanic.

I went through your activity recorder and I counted 36 eligible Pokemon hatched at the time of your post, which still means I missed one somewhere, but should reflect the coins received from eggs you hatched. You don't need to be shiny hunting a Pokemon for it to count.

I'm having a lot of fun with this event, thanks everyone for planning it. I like all of the colors that are in my party.

I really must say how much I have been enjoying this Pride Month Celebration coin event. All other coin events I entered... I never. NEVER. NEVER EVER had a Pokémon hatch always, without fail, with a coin. During past events, if my party had duplicates of an eligible Pokémon, I was lucky if one of the two hatched with a coin. If my party contained 6 eligible Pokémon I'd be lucky to collect 3 or 4 coins. I don't know if there was a behind-the-scenes script fix or what... but for the first time ever... every eligible Pokémon I hatched for this event... held a coin. *faints*

Finally! My dream of getting a shiny voucher for something I've never, NEVER, NEVER EVER before been able to get... is within my reach. I'm not sure I can make it to the 600 mark... but I'm floored that I was able to get enough coins for the shiny novelty voucher. Oh the choice I'll have if I do make it to 600!!

And it's all because this is the first time ever that all the eligible Pokémon I hatched... hatched with a coin. I might not have gotten a single shiny from the event [yet]... but knowing that I might reach 600... that I've vaulted over 500... I can't thank you all enough, GPX! Thank you! Sincerely and seriously! Thank you!
