Ursaring

Type : Normal

Resists : None

Weaknesses : Fighting

Immunities : Ghost

Ursaring is a pokemon of many different possibilities, howeve, it is more suited to late game sweeping.

Toxic Orb

Ursaring @ Toxic Orb
Jolly - 252 Atk / 252 Speed / 4 HP - Quick Feet
~Facade
~Fire Punch
~Close Combat / Earthquake
~Swords Dance

This is probably Ursarings best set. The effectiveness of this set is simple. Switch into a special wall, proving an obvious threat, Swords Dance as they switch and with Toxic Orb activated, you hit 343 speed. To elaborate the absolute monstrous power this sets Facade packs, after just one SD, Facade 2HKO'es Standard 252HP / 252 Def Skarmory, a massive acheivement for any physical sweeper, especially since Skarmory resists Facade. The other oves on this set are simply for coverage. Fire Punch hits the steels which resist Facade, while the other moveslot can be dedicated to taking down a pokemon your team has problems with. Close Combat nails Tyranitar while Earthquake catches Magnezone and Heatran for x 4 damage.

Wall go bye bye
Ursaring @ Flame Orb
~Adamant - 252 Hp / 252 Atk / 4 Speed - Guts
~Swords Dance
~Body Slam / Facade
~Fire Punch
~Earthquake

This thing is meant for severe power. As in power to crush bones and level villages. Simple enough to use, simply switch into a special wall and attack after your Flame Orb is activated, nailing your opponents counter and most likely sending it to an early grave. If you get a Swords Dance in, expect to destroy something.
The moves are down to preference. Facade means you obliterate opponents, however, Body Slam can paralyze your opponents and make a sweep reality. Fire Punch and Earthquake are simply for coverage.

Banded Destruction
Ursaring @ Choice Band
Adamant - 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Speed - Guts
Jolly - 252 Atk / 252 Speed / 4 HP - Quick Feet
~Return / Body Slam
~Crunch
~Fire Punch
~Earthquake

One of Urasrings worse sets (in my opinion) this can sill be effective. Since you can now hit switch-ins with a choice of 4 moves, not much can easily and safely switch into this without having a nasty chuck torn out of its HP.
If you use Guts as your ability, you can safely switch into W-o-W's and toxic spikes to send your Atk scarily high, however, you lack any form of speed, so good predcition is a must with the Guts set.
If you choose Quick Feet as your ability, you can get speed to outrun opponents, however, you don't get the nice Atk boost of Guts. This also means you won't be able to switch into W-o-W's.

~Counters~
Anything with a Priority move eats Ursaring for breakfast. If your pokemon can outrun 343 speed too, the opponent can basically kiss thier Ursaring goodbye.

~Summarisation~
In summary, ursaring is a high risk, high return pokemon. Mispredict, you lose Ursaring. Predict correctly, your opponent almost certainly loses thier pokemon.

I use the Toxic Orb set on my OU team on Platinum. He works well on his own, but even better if he has a Baton Pass Ninjask to support him.
