Gallade hands down. It's also a fighting and learns things like Leaf Blade, Psycho Cut, etc.

Considering Kirlia learns them, yes. But Gallade doesn't need them because it's a physical attacker.

I prefer Gallade, it has a really nice selection of attacks.

Never really been a fan of Gardevoir, to be honest.

Why would that matter?

I would choose Gallade, it has a lot of good attacks to back up its stats.

i dunno...
I like Gardevoir for it can copy Jirachi's Wish/toxic combo...
not only that it makes a pretty decent special sweeper...

HOWEVER... Gallade makes a very good physycal sweeper, as stated above, for it learns a very good set of moves...
How u train it affects it...

I Suggest making one of each... they are each usefull in different situations... =D

You're right Gallade is one hell of a powerful ally, but Gardevoir is to good enough to be left out. I personally like both of them. I should use gallade for battles and gardevoir for contest.

True. Gallade is more of a battler and Gardevoir are more for contests.

Well why not train both and test said theory in a doubles match?
I don't have either so I can't decide which one is better in battle.

I prefer Gardevoir myself, It's better for various reasons, depite Gallade being able to take out a standard blssey, from experience, I would go for Gardevoir.

Now here's where it starts to depend on what position it will hold in your party.
Gardevoir is a Spc. Attacker. Its best stats are Spc. Attack, Spc. Defense, and HP
Gallade is a normal Attacker. His highest stats are Attack, Spc. Defense, and HP
So it really matters on the pokemon's roll in the party.

Use both for a doubles team. My bro uses them together and they can get very annoying once Gardevoir's light screen and reflect are up. Reflect is more important as they have low physical defense.
