Alright so
I was hunting for a female Pumpkaboo, to name after the character I got my username from. Nozomi it is, then.
note that these eggs were scarce by the time i started, only two of us were breeding them. It was very frustrating in the shelter.

Ok so nearly a month later, this guy shows up. Wait. Guy ?

This means i will start again. That Nozomi gourgeist will be my image pokemon, there's no way i'm stopping there. I bet you anything i'll be weeping in agony in a week and it will be regretti, especially if i hatch another male in the process.

What were YOUR shiny hunting sufferings ?

Was trying to hatch a male shiny Misdreavus to name it after an OC I no longer use, it ended up hatching female. After 1,172 Eggs and a slow computer, I decided to not bother re-hunting and just named it after the character anyways.

Mine's more banal: hatched a shiny male Salandit during SWSH.
I was expecting to end up like this, and so far, don't feel like retrying for a female.

God that sounds painful, especially since salazzle has such a beautiful shiny... things you can't evolve with such a bad gender ratio, it's the Vespiqueen situation all over again

On a side note i just hatched my second male pumpkaboo and this is hell
