Pokemon I collect

Do you ever check your daycare offspring, and see how many of your eggs have been adopted, hatched, or hatched shiny?
If so, when you breed and release rares/novelties into the shelter, do you check to see who adopted them?

I'll sometimes check if I'm breeding something particularly difficult, like Clone Charmander.
And I'll admit, I can sometimes get disappointed if someone who already has one has adopted it.
I like seeing that I've helped someone's collection and made their day.
('scuse the mini rant. Not quite what I wanted to generate discussion on, but it's just a personal opinion.)

When it comes to breeding, yes, i check if any got adopted/hatched shiny.
For releasing not so much. I just abandon the legends/novelties and forget about them xD

Yeah, I like to peek around and see who has been adopting my daycare babies, especially when I breed novelties. I like to see them go to people who need them. One person even gave me a shoutout in their journal, haha.

I used to check after my creatures. Then my computer crashed. Once I get my Dex a little more filled out though, I am going to start checking after my babies again.

Yeah, I like to see if the novelties/legendaries I release go to someone who needs them for their collection.

I check my offspring all the time, mostly out of curiosity. Sometimes I'm like OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I BRED A SHINY AND DIDN'T GET IT--but then it makes me happy to check out the user who got it that was totally stoked to finally get the shiny they wanted.

And you know, I used to get annoyed by people "hoarding" the novelties I bred but now I find myself becoming way more annoyed when people who barely play snatch up a novelty and then the egg sits unhatched for months and months, lol.

But let me stop there, I don't want this to become a whiny thread. headache.gif

In the end, they're all pixels and it ain't no thang. cat.gif

I despise seeing unhatched eggs in my daycare offspring. I'm trying to have my current daycare couple breed a shiny, but the more unhatched eggs I see, the more I fear one of THOSE eggs has a shiny. (and some of these eggs are... old, and I doubt their owners are even still active on this site. >_>)

I like looking at this a lot, yeah - especially when I see people all happy and squeeing about finally getting something they were looking for. It's happened several times thanks to my tendency to breed novelties/rares, and it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. /////

I also like seeing people get shinies that I bred, though I did feel kind of bad when in one case, I picked up the shiny from a pair I bred, and someone else who was actually doing a hunt for that Pokémon got the other, non-shiny one. orz

I think I would've gone crazy if someone else had ended up with the one and only shiny Sentret I bred though, lol.

I check to see if I have bred any shinies. I don't really look at who has my novelties, I have released so many char clones there is no point in keeping up with who has them.

Very true. ^^
Still, it's easy to get attached to these pixels. Dx

Yeah, that definitely makes me wonder as well.
Especially when the egg is ready to hatch. noes.gif

It is a nice feeling, isn't it? To know you're helping people with their dex. I'd rather help with that than someone's shiny hunt, but hey.
Haven't had much patience for shiny hunts myself, and only have two shinies, so I'm stubbornly denying knowing the feeling of finding one. Never mind if it's one you've been searching for.

Two of the sentrets I've bred have come out shiny and gone to other people. XD I keep telling myself I'll end up with the third, perhaps, if I stop donating all the eggs they breed.

Yeah, a few of the Bulbasaur eggs that I've bred like in January are still sitting unhatched in people's parties. Wonder if the poor things have gone rotten...

I have bred two shinies that other people have ended up with. One was a shiny shuckle which I was actually looking for, and the other was a shiny rattata bred during my adamant rat hunt, which I cared less about.

Yeah, I look at all of mine.

I got disappointed when I saw that all of the Charmander eggs my female Charizard popped out, only five out of maybe fifty were actually taken. Four Charmander, one Charmeleon.
Sad.

I only check my offspring. For example, I'm breeding a Pokii and a Ditto right now, and most of the eggs are Pineco eggs. But every once and a while, a Pokii will show up. I've breed quite a few Pineco eggs now, and only 2 pokii eggs. Only one of the Pineco eggs was adopted sad.gif

Oh well.

Also, am I the only one who breeds Pokemon for the community, and is happy when someone gets one of your shinys? I love it. My Haunter and Rotom made 4 shiny rotoms. They all went to loving homes. That makes me happy grin.gif

/wallotextthatnobodywillread

EDIT: Just checked. Make that 3 Pineco eggs... Both gotten by the same person, who is looking for a shiny Pineco. Here's to you Chaosflare! Get a shiny! grin.gif

I think it's fun to check who adopted my eggs/Pokémon!

I occassionally check on them, and randomly give out clicks to those people. ^^

I check all the time, just out of curiosity. It's usually when I'm breeding novelties for whatever reason, but I've also been looking at my Mudkips' offspring 'cause I'm breeding so many that someone might get a shiny.
