I'm interested, but I'd also like to know the answer to what Luminey asked ;o Are we limited to just recoloring, or are we allowed to scratch on parts/ remove parts as long as the only sprite that's used is the original base? I tend to do major edits to a single Pokémon even if it's just recoloring :P

i understand what you guys mean. thats one of the things i was thinking about, though i thought i should of just kept it as a straight-up recolor with nothing else too special for now, since this is my first contest. however, i am having second thoughts, and realizing this may be a bit of an odd ball for experienced spriters (myself included; i tend to scratch my own unique stuff too), i'll go ahead and add that to the first post. so to answer both your questions, yes, you may go ahead and make a few minor scratch edits here and there, as long as you don't borrow parts from another sprite and use that as a minor/other edit. @Wishful Jirachi / Lost It All - ok, i'll be waiting to see your entries. c: -------------------- |
