Heyy
So I'm curious, What's everyone's favorite books and why? Mine is Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I love it because it's not your usual love triangle, it's dark for a classic novel. And I always end up crying when I read it, and at different parts. -------------------- |

I love, love, LOVE The Halfblood Chronicles by Mercedes Lackey and Andre Norton. I thought it was a really fresh, interesting take on fantasy. I also love LOTR, Harry Potter, etc., because I can.
Despite hating Twilight, I know way too much about it. |

I like Gamer Girl by Mari Mancusi because it has a twist of anime and manga in it.

'Life of Pi' by Yann Martel is an intense and amazing book, it's my favourite by far. It's definitely a book that will make you think about your will to survive and how subjective reality is.
Books by Nancy Farmer are good too, especially 'The Sea of Trolls'. 'House of Scorpion' is pretty deep, but most of her stuff is just a fun read. -------------------- Black friend code Hex 3739-8833-7381 |

I don't know, but "The Count of Monte Cristo" is definitely up there. The British TV series was fairly faithful to the book, but I think of it as very dull and lifeless. An American movie was made, but you really couldn't call it the same story. Japan made an anime series out of it and it is one of my favourite anime ever made, being equal parts faithful and unfaithful.

The Inheritance Cycle (so freakin' psyched for the last), the occasional Clive Cussler novel, Mortal Instruments series along with the newer series (the name's slipped my mind), the Silverwing series, and one of my absolutely favourite books was White Fang by Jack London growing up x)
And of course Harry Potter. A few of my friends have never read them and that makes me sad. ;; -------------------- |
