Being able to narrow your search in Pokedex by adding egg steps. It would be super easy to search all the Pokemon that need (e.g.) 10,240 to hatch.
Being able to find Pokemon from your PC by adding generation as one filter. Kanto/First, Johto/Second, ...Kalos/Sixth, Alola/Seventh and Non-canon. Making it easier to keep your (e.g.) livingdex in order.
I like these ideas and I don't remember if anyone has suggested anything similar.
Being able to check for egg steps will be useful for Pokehunts and shiny hunting.
Being able to sort by generation is good for people who like to sort their PC in that fashion.
Yeah, I agree, I often forgot whose good for hunts I actually need to try, cause I'm missing those shards. So having a search option rather than guessing would be nice.
