I think the new VS. Seeker looks pretty great. Except for the insane price for the diamond division (250000 points).

Alright, so I just took Emerald (Rayquaza) out and it didn't tell me if I won or lost. I THINK I won, but I can't be sure...

I don't know if it's to do with the multiplier causing lag or a glitch in the code, I just tried to view past battles and it told me to wait until the previous request finished, so it might be lag-related... *just checked it and she did win grin.gif*

I misinterprted how it worked, I thought the Diamond Rank gave you 2 Prize Points as well as the 500,000 points. Obviously not. I didn't have the money to do that, especially that I lost the first time...
I thought the prize points was just instead of the 30% money bonus, but obviously not...

Not Really. The cost for Diamond is rather steep even if that can be made in a few days. Additionally, the cost for putting in Pokemon makes it annoyingly expensive to use it as a general leveling system for Pokemon, which is what I did. I never really saw the Vs. Seeker as a competitive feature of the site, to me it was just a way to cheaply and effortlessly level Pokemon that would have otherwise just sat in my PC doing nothing.

I think that may have been a reason they changed it. It's just too easy to level up a pokemon in the Vs. Seeker, taking away the challenge aspect of the site.

When I tried to enter my level 87 Diglett the training option didn't appear. My only option was for the two Platinum tiers. Guess I just overlooked it.

I do like it cat.gif
It's a nice money spender for people who don't know what to spend their points on xp

Although, i think i'll pass on platinum, since I personally don't think the price is worth two prize points, at the moment XD
then again /poor

I'm now kicking myself for forgetting to battle my Lv100 male Machamp one more time to get the achievement. With the new changes it'll now cost me some points. dry.gif Apart from that, I like the new changes - I usually use the VS Seeker as a way of raising pokemon, but should I start getting into more of the competitive side of things, I think the new pricing system is better.

I hate the new Vs. Seeker!

Battle results are calculated by which Pokemon can defeat the other faster (in the fewest attacks), via their battle stats (HP, ATK, etc)

mad.gif This really pisses me off. I liked the fact that the Vs. Seeker wasn't dependent on stats. Now, it'll be more of a pain to level up those pokemon with poor stats. crying.gif

I want the old Vs. Seeker back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
