As you all know GoldHeart and SoulSilver are coming out next year. So, which region is better?
I'm partial to Sinnoh, having been raised with Pearl. Although I like Johto's starters better... -------------------- Help a breeder out?

I like jhoto better because it has cool starters,cool Pokemon,I just don't like one thing that jhoto doesn't have as many Pokemon as sinnoh. And also I like Lugia and Ho-ho for some reason.

You should have made between Johto, Kanto, Sinnoh and Hoenn.

My favorite has to be Johto since most of my favorites came out of there (T-tar, Sudowoodo) and it was more of an epic adventure (considering it had twice as many badges...but by God do I love me that Mudkip...on the other hand, Hoenn wasn't a choice that it weas fairly obvious.

Johto, definitely. I like the land of Hoenn the best though, because you got to dive into the oceans and make cool secret bases. But I prefer Johto over Sinnoh. Johto has the coolest legendaries and a Dragon type Pokemon gym.

Johto is by far better. Just because Sinnoh had wifi and DS gameplay, did not really make it better. :/

Johto hands down for me. Pokemon started to lose it's allure in the 3rd Gen. for me. Firstly, the legendaries started to suck. While the designs were nice, I just didn't really like their attacks, or the fact that I could easily defeat them. Heck, I had to restart about 15 times when I was battling Palkia before I actually managed to catch the thing. Secondly, I just didn't like the Pokemon as much. In Sinnoh, they looked down right strange and plushy -like. Darkrai looks to me more like a stuffed toy than a nightmare causing terror. Not to mention all the horrible and unneeded evolutions. Probopass, Magmortar, Electivire? They look just plain ugly and they aren't actually needed in the evolution line anyway since all the other ones were good enough. Thirdly, everyone is a pushover. The Gym Leaders could hardly last against me, and I beat the Elite Four, including the Champion in half an hour. So yes, I go with Johto, not just because of HG and SS, but because it is better overall.

Johto. The region is AWESOME. The gym leaders are neat, the starters are adorable, and Furret and Ampharos are STILL my favorite pokemon.
